Mick Jagger Publicly Hooking Up Again


It has been three months since L'Wren Scott died and Mick Jagger is not being shy about showing off a new woman. Previously he had been more discreet when it came to his encounters with women, and even more so while dating L'Wren. This time though I guess he thought three months was long enough and he was spotted on a Swiss balcony with a woman he met earlier in the week. They made an appearance on the balcony fully dressed and later made a return appearance on the balcony with her wearing one of Mick's shirts and nothing else. I guess he is over his mourning.

    Is there a standardized mourning period? Is it different if the person kills them self? What if you had already emotionally checked out of the relationship? Are you required to fake emotion to satisfy the judgers? Where do I find this manual? I am so confused.

      The manual can be found on the ID channel, check your local listings. It explicitly states that if the partner is not suffering from a paralyzing, all encompassing, painfully obvious and heartbreakingly loud 5 year grieving period then they most definitely are doing something wrong.

    But l wren knew the deal. The problem with l wren was she kept taking loans out and needing mickey to pay them off and mickey finally said no and dumped her. He paid cash for her nyc apartment and she took a loan out to keep up her lifestyle and business and he paid it off then she took another loan without telling him and when she asked him to pay it off again he said no. She always overlooked the cheating.

    I think L'wren's death shook him.
    He is of the age when the obits are the first thing you read and she was not supposed to go first.

      I used to feel the same way about him, until I saw him perform live.

      After that it, it was kind of like that Julie Brown song “Earth Girl’s Are Easy.” It starts with her singing about his ‘shake-n-bake complexion and eyes like a slug’ and ends with her wanting his baby and taking the lock off the doggy door.

    I don't understand why everyone's so mad at Mick. L'Wren committed suicide, which in itself is probably the most equally selfish & cruel acts a person can commit, and people think Mick should continue to mourn the person who did this to him and the rest of her surviving loved ones? Even if Mick weren't already the most notorious man-slut in rock history, he has no duty to remain "faithful" to someone who essentially left him in a very hostile manner. Lots of people get depressed and/or suicidal, but they don't kill themselves out of a stronger love for the people around them.

    I agree with almost everyone here. He is definitely stunted emotionally but yet I'm sure he was checked out of that relationship with L'Wren long before so although he was probably shocked and saddened, his life is still going on with dating as it was when he was with her.

I mean, he's like 100 years old, and if you took these photos in a time machine and showed them to people in 1969, they'd know immediately who that guy is. Granted, they're blurry and forgiving, shot from such a distance and all, but dang!

    I genuinely can't see the issue here. Having sex with a woman, to me, does not mean he is no longer mourning lwren, it's simply he had sex with someone. If he announced he was in love or whatever, then yes, but he simply spent the night with someone he picked up. It in no way indicates his feelings about lwren, her death and how she died. It's simply sex. A physical act. No more, no less, possibly comfort or companionship, sure, but unless he tells us otherwise, that's all it is and says nothing about his personal grieving process.

    Mick's not married, he & L'Wren had split before she died, and who cares if he's hooking up with a younger woman -- that's not a new concept for him or any other aging rich guy. If she can stomach it, she deserves the payday -- that's the deal with these things. What I can't believe is the whole "publicly hooking up" scorn that TempEnty is casting at a couple of pap photos of them on a PRIVATE BALCONY in another country. That looks like a photographer made some money shooting a private moment. Where's the scorn for that? You'd think with all this pearl-clutching that he'd boned this chick on the coffin at the funeral. Sheesh!

    I agree with OneEyeCharlie and others of the same mind. It looks like a hook up three months after the woman he paid a lot of money to and who he might have been on the verge of breaking up with killed herself. People find comfort in different ways, and these pictures don't signify disregard of L. Some people even laugh at funerals, for god's sake. Also, I fail to see any joy in these photos. He looks tired and blah.

    Anyhooo.
    I'm more surprised at the plain Jane element of Micks recent cling on.
    Also, he HAS definitely aged. Expand the photos and take a gander. That's a 70+++ face with a lot of hair dye, or who knows ...maybe he wears a wig. The hair is young, the face ain't.

He needs the women to feed his ego and at his age it probably doesn't even fill that need anymore. I'll repeat enties first sentence - it has been three months since L'Wren Scott died- exactly how long do the judges of all things here think he should wait?     Mick is gross but I'm guessing he's charismatic as heck and between that confidence and $ the girls are lining up. I'd also imagine for a rock star of his caliber hook ups are much like brushing ones' teeth.

    I used to think suicide was an act of selfishness. Now I'm convinced it's an act of desperation, executed by those who genuinely see no other way.

    As has been stated, for some people sex is a natural consolation after a loved one's death; it's the ultimate affirmation of life.

    Having said that, I looked at the picture and thought: eeewwwwwww.

    Why are people surprised. He obviously staged this to let everyone know it's back to business for Mick. He's one of the world's biggest misogynists. Women fulfill a need, and then they are expendable. After Jerry Hall had one of their kids, and was breast feeding in the living room, he banged the nanny in the kitchen. It's ALWAYS about HIM. The "relationship" with L'Wren was to suit HIM on his terms. After 50 years, people know what to expect when they hook up with Mick, whatever HE wants.

    Nobody's gonna see this (big pain week; needed something more engrossing than a goss blog), but...

    a) Sure, Jagger is a misogynist and a narcissist--he's always treated women as objects chosen to reflect his sense of his own desirability, & laughed at their vulnerabilities--nb lyrics from as far back as early 60's "Yesterday's Papers" to "Some Girls" in '78 (saw them tour for SG at 14, & thought he was SO OLD; threw em over for Clash after release of Emotional Rescue).

    b) IMO, L'Wren did suicide at least in part as a passive-aggressive act to hit her ex. Only reason this interests me is that she left her entire $6mil estate to Old Skinflint. Her gross worth probably amounts to a fraction of what he pulls in each year between royalties & investments. Both would know that, so why?

    From a depressed woman whose self-image/worth has been battered, seems a final smackdown & payback: "here's what I owe you, f---ker." To him it might be no more than a proper ROI for $$ unwillingly doled out to support her in-the-red business.

    The moral? Do not get involved w/a musician. Even moderately successful ones can be egocentric enough to leave friends & lovers gape-jawed & doing repeated, incredulous faceplants before coming to their senses. Compared to musicians, most actors can seem empathetic, well-grounded, & almost self-denying ;) .
