Hope Solo Due In Court This Morning

Hope Solo has been in jail since early Saturday when she was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic violence after she became drunk and hit her sister and her 17 year old nephew. Police were called to the home around 1am because the caller said there was a female at the party who was hitting people and wouldn't stop and wouldn't leave. When police arrived they took statements from people at the party and noticed visible injuries on the sister and nephew and arrested Hope. There was no sign of her husband, who Hope married immediately after he was arrested for hitting her and getting arrested. Those charges were later dropped when Hope refused to press charges.

    Same here @AJ. I get happy and just ridiculously silly...and then sleepy. LOL. I guess I wear myself out w/ all the silliness. /grin/

    You can't charge someone with domestic violence unless they are living together. Were the sister and nephew living with her?

    Otherwise, it is simple battery or assault.

    My brother punched my stepdad when my stepdad came to my brother's house drunk and belligerent. My brother got charged with third degree domestic assault.
