Brad Paisley Is A Great Guy

Brad Paisley showed what a great guy he was this weekend when he played a show in Kansas. For whatever reason, the Westboro Baptist church members decided they were going to show up with one of their usual crap protests and Brad took matters into his own hands. He took a selfie with members of the group and then when he posted it to Twitter called them west-burro(ass) and said he hoped he would be able to play extra loud so they would have to listen to his music all night.

  1. Brad is a good guy. He's one of the few country singers that give us southerners a good name.

I really don't understand the WBBC at all though. They'll protest anything and everything as it's really fucking sick.

  2. These westboro peeps are all about judgement and hate. Not very Christey at all.

    1. True story: I was in jail in the bible belt, one of the workers was a MARRIED crazy Christ screaming looney, who had been fucking her best friends husband for 10 years!!! Went to CHURCH every Sunday. The more Christ comes out a persons mouth, the less Christey they act.

  3. If I didn't hate country music, I would totally buy his CD just for this.

The chick in the blue shirt needs to stop grinning ear-to-ear before her church members decide she's enjoying herself and start picketing her house.

  6. I think that woman likes the fame a little too much!!! Why is she smiling? Isn't she there to be a hater?! Eeeek. These people terrify me!!

    Yay to Brad though!!

  7. Westboro loves the attention, they are famewhores, that's why she's smiling big.

  9. What is the point these crazies are trying to make half the time? Picketing soldiers, drunks, gays..Just a waste of time.

And I don't know what bible they read from but the one I read, while saying he was angry from time to time, never said anything about Hate.

  10. Plot Twist: She is a huge BP fan and orchestrated this whole thing just to get a unique picture with her favorite sinner.

  13. I believe part of their gig is to try and piss people off enough to attack them so they can sue.

They give Christians and Democrats a bad name, that's for damn sure.

Brad Paisley is great on many levels.

  17. @Ian's Girl, you are spot on. That's how WBC makes their money: litigation. They hope to prompt someone to violence, then sue them.

Interesting article: Why the Westboro Baptist Church is a scam -- from 2006, so obvs. before Fred Phelps kicked the bucket.

Not at fan of country at all, but a new respect knowing he dislikes those assholes as much as I do.

  18. Other than proclaiming to follow Christ, nothing about Westboro espouses any aspect of Christianity. I could call myself a car, but it doesn't make me a car anymore than what they claim to be.

I saw him interviewed a few times and watch him and Underwood host the CMA's. I find him funny and quite charming. I could get into country music if not for the fiddles. Fiddles make the hair on the b

  30. Have you guys even seen "Accidental Racist"?

It's a pretty cool song, and I remember both of them getting a lot of shit from all sides.

Here is a YT video with lyrics. Worth checking out.

  31. Love Brad! Very personable...

Sorry, Zach. Kimberly is a little uptight. She could just be shy or extremely hungry based on her sternum poking oot. But, I love Father of the Bride, like looove it. I get the vibe that she thinks she's above other country wives bc of her acting. They both are extremely philanthropic though.

I think Vince Gill went off on these idiots last year?

  32. he's the guy with the racist song with ll cool j, right? not a great guy.

  34. Off to google this song.

I'm a Christian and I think that these Westboro peeps will be in hell if they don't stop and repent this constant hate. FWIW, we aren't all judge mental and looney birds. If these crazies would spend more time READING the Bible instead of thumping it, theyd know that Jesus would never do this.

  36. If i could be invisible for a day, I'd love to take out a few WBC members. And Ann Coulter, and Beiber. I have a list.

  37. @Ray Nicolet, that's what I thought too....the Foo Fighters killed it with their little "performance" for WBC. If anyone wants to see it, it's called Keep it Clean. You really gotta see it!
