  2. I feel her. I lost a bunch of hair 5 years ago when my thyroid went over active. It's awdul.

  3. That is awful. Some consultation at least is that the quality of wigs and hair pieces today is far superior than ever. Not that it's ever the same.

  4. So sad. I wonder if it's from stress or malnutrition

  5. Consolation not consultation.

  6. She's so pretty. That sucks. Apparently they have stem cell treatment for that now. Hope she googles.

  7. @Reno Same thing happened to me.

Losing your hair as a female is more damaging than being fat. At least you can lose weight. When your hair is gone. It's just gone. It's devastating when it happens.

  8. This is why when your period stops, you need to start eating again.

    3. Joking about eating disorders is never funny. They ruin women's lives and cause chronic health problems, pain and death. Not. Funny.

  9. My hair was falling out during my last year as an undergrad, 100% due to stress. My doctor told me one of her craziest stories. This patient, you could draw a line down the half of her body, and she lost ALL of her hair from the right side. Head, underarms, pubes, everything, but perfectly limited to one side

  10. That's awful. Poor girl.

  11. well I just googled her hair for 2014 and she looks good to me. Maybe it is thinning a little but she has a full head of locks so IDK...

  12. Weaves & extenstions all cause damage, years of having those done along with a strict diet.

  13. If you're a young woman and your hair is falling out, get your thyroid checked!!!

  14. She looks a shitload better than Diane Kruger, though. Have you seen recent photos of Diane? She looks like she has male pattern baldness. After my first baby was born, I lost hair in clumps, and my hairline looked like Kruger's does now.

  15. I've cried over bad haircuts, so this would send me over the edge.

  16. I think Diana's issue is years of bleaching with foils & a very restricted diet.

  17. We rarely see the female celebs with just their natural hair.

I'm sorry but I think the fake hair is sooooo odd. (I get the wigs for productions and for people who've become I'll) But in day to day life, um ...."Wait Honey, let me go take half my hair out before you touch me."
And what about riding roller coasters?
Or wind? Or being comfortable? I mean Shit! Who wants to walk around with all that fake shit hanging off your head. And what about a swim or your daily shower FFS?

  18. love her, i feel like we go through the same things sometimes

  19. I lost hair in patches when I was stressed out of my mind. And then I would get even MORE stressed because I was losing my hair.
Be kind, for everyone you know is fighting a hard battle.

  20. Is it because she always dyed her hair brown? She is naturally blonde but dyed her hair brown for gossip girl. And i guess she wants to be known as blair forever

  21. Let's just hope she is not undergoing chemo or some such, I like Leighton.

  22. I feel for her, losing your hair is just tougher socially for women. Hope the hair loss is temporary.

  23. I lost all my hair after I had my son. I had use a fringe as a female comb over to hide the bald spot at the front. Being a bald lady is no joy

  24. Was just at beach where i saw several balding ladies of all ages. Dont know if its illness or what. Mb wigs too hot?

  25. Could be autoimmune related or thyroid.
Or years of extension like Anniston. She is bald underneath from all that fake hair.

  26. Could be trichotillomania. I have a friend with it. She shaves her head to get around the temptation to pull it out.

    1. I have it too. Sucks big time. I've shaved my head twice, but now just wear baseball hats everywhere. Wigs are expensive and hot, especially during muggy Midwest summers. I only wear my wig to church, and rarely go anymore.

  27. Baldness runs in my family. The entire top middle of my head is bald. My hairdresser does a real good job keeping what little I have looking as lush as possible. Unless you're standing over me and staring down at my head, you don't notice. I never stand next to tall people.

  28. @Gina Sz: 10 yrs w/ a loopy broad and you pick up on some things.

  29. @WoodsyGal: Don't be silly. A dude wearing an XXL t-shirt that says, "I beat anorexia" is certainly funny.

  30. No hair color or bleach will affect the follicles, doy.
