This foreign born former B list mostly movie actress with A list name recognition left her baby and her significant other behind and spent 20 minutes having sex with this Academy Award winner. It is apparently something they have done before. You also got the feeling that she was just a number for him that day.

I saw requiem for a dream when I was much younger. Don't remember it much. I refuse to see Dallas buyers club because of my distaste for Leto so no. Also straight men who do drag for recognition and awards really bother me.

ReplyDeleteI saw Dallas Buyers Club just the other day. Really good movie, and I totally agree with MM winning an Academy Award for the piece, the only way I knew it was him was the voice, and he really got to me in this role.
ReplyDeleteI have always liked Jared as an actor, but honestly I thought his role was small and not that impactful in DBC. After seeing the movie, I didn't really understand his nomination or win. I mean he was fine, but I thought MM overshadowed everyone in that movie, and that's the performance that I remember.
Off topic (kind of), I also watched The Normal Heart last week...wow, that was some incredible work by all. Multiple Kleenex movie.
I've not seen him in much, but he doesn't impress me either.
