Pete definitely seems like a pedophile to me. Kate seems like she really lives and cares about her kids above all else even if she does stupid shit at times so I could see this being her.
jack, I take it u never seen the pics of Kate drugged out or hungover or w/e, w/ her daughter having to light her cigarettes for her cuz she was so fucked up. It was a few yrs ago, taken while they were on the beach. Her daughter was like 8.
I hate Pete. Use to like The Libertines but just cant with him. He also latched on to Amy Winehouse during her final days when she was struggling to get clean. Kate is no angel---there were stories about her and Amy having a falling out cause Amy stole her coke stash. But like Jack said I think she kept her partying ways away from her kid (I believe she had just one daughter with a very wealthy and handsome business man)..
"the way the celebrity acted towards her daughter" is sort of vague. I don't think we should immediately assume pedophile behavior...maybe he was raging at the child. Drugs can make people extremely irritable and violent at times.
Reminds me of this really good movie I recently saw. It was called What Masie Knew. Julianne Moore plays a rock musician who is getting over her partying ways but cant quite completely give it up and loses custody of her young daughter to the father who is a slimy business man who just wants the daughter for a power trip. It is a good movie--I recommend...
I've never seen nor heard of those photos---just Kate hovering coke with some members of The Clash---the infamous photos that almost ruined her career...

I wouldn't let children or animals around Pete Doherty either. The man is awful. He's been involved in at least one person's death and the OD of another.

@derek, I thought it was a great movie. Lots of respect for Julianne Moore going the natural route and aging gracefully. I think the make up artists used lots of powder on her face to bring out the fine lines around her mouth and eyes and she totally rocked that character. For me it was right up there wi her performances in Boogie Nights and Magnolia.
I've never seen or heard about pics like that @Warecat. I read some time ago that Kate was trying to get some of her less savory images off of the net so her daughter wouldn't see them.
Since everyone is talking about Kate Moss, I'll share that I used to work for a hotel and she was a guest with her daughter circa 2002. She through a fit claiming that the bellman lost her stroller and had everyone looking everywhere for it. After an hour of 30 people dropping everything to look for it, we found it in her suite. It had been there the whole time, right in front of her face. She didn't even apologize or thank us for finding it for her. She's like school in summer, no class.
