This permanent A list entertainer(singer) was in the next room the first time her daughter had sex. She wanted to be there in case her daughter had any questions.
Lourdes seems like such a normal well adjusted girl despite who her mother is so I'd hate for it to be her but that sounds likes something Madonna would do.
Madonna - "how many times did he make an ugly face?"
"Just once, but..."
Madonna - "Get back to it, and don't talk to me until he makes 2 more ugly faces. We have a reputation to uphold. When ur finished I'll buy you a Hello Kitty Vibrator."
Ok, devils advocate here. Would I feel comfortable my first time with my mom in the next room? No. However, I take this as less of a "try this position, dear" and more as her wanting her daughter to be in a safe environment and I'm here if you need me. I doubt mom was peeking through the door. Besides, there are countries where sex among teens is accepted in the family home and it's not a forbidden thing to talk about. Those countries have a lower rate of teen pregnancies and std, as they can discuss it openly.
I'm with Enquirer above. The more interesting question is how old was Lourdes (nevermind the legalities and age of the guy). If she was near legal age then it is just weird given how 'worldly' Lourdes must be but if she was 13 or 14 then this is really messed up and disgusting.
Agree with sugarbread that this blind sounds familiar but perm A list singer wouldn't be Melanie or Jada. That doesn't mean they didn't do the same thing or that there wasn't a similar blind that said actress.
Glitter, tiger, you shkd read shirley maclaines daughter's biography. Both of her parents were complete wack jobs. I think its called lucky me. That woman regularly talks to martians, helps the govt with clones- she believes all that!!!!! And the fathers another idiot.
Adding to the devil's advocate line, "next room" in a big-ass house/apartment could be pretty far away but still home and generally around, not outside the bedroom door with her ear pressed to it.
thanks ladies "it was like deja vu all over again!!" i knew i heard this before or lazy fugazzi enty thought we weren't quick enough on the draw. thanks for making sure i wasn't going craycray @7 did you wander to the last reveal yesterday about kourtney and see what i had to say about yessica alba's little baby?? thoughts? i bought bo wine last night pinot grigiot and have it cold waiting for 6pm true blood shtfest
This is something a true narcissist would do, so my vote is for both Shirley McClain and Madonna. How about not making it about you, ladies? Kids are perfectly able to figure things out on their own, and if they need help, will likely go to their peers, not their parents.
Seriously, everyone? I mean, I do realize the POINT of the website IS to judge the people in the blinds, but this is waaaay more pearl-clutching than I would've expected!
TMI but I grew up in a super restrictive Protestant household and my parents would *never* have been available as resources. And in lieu of that, I admire any parent who wants to give her children a healthy relationship with, and respect for, sex and sexual health.
I'd add, too -- and it's uncomfortable to say this, but -- these parents are staying close enough to hear their daughters scream for help. It is perfectly likely that a young woman might decide "past the point of no return" that she'd rather not have her first sexual encounter right now, and it sounds to me like these mothers are trying to create "No Rape or Sexual Trauma" zones.
So yeah, I think this is "weird" in the sense of it being unorthodox and aberrant from the norm, but it doesn't seem all that creepy tbh.
I don't think this is madonna, I really don't. The reason why is I watched her being interviewed once and madonna with Lourdes is a straight up old fashioned mom. Put your shoes away, no iPhone, small pocket money. I think unless Lourdes was of age, I think madonna would beat her black and blue if she was contemplating sex and ground her for a year. Probably even if lourdes was nineteen she would be the same. People are judging her on her public progressive image and not how she actually is with her children. Which is a very old fashioned mother, surprisingly enough, so I don't think this is her.
It's going to be someone more progressive with their kids and more hippyish, Like Cher.
Didn't Angie Jolie say that her first sexual experience was home bc her mom wanted it to happen in a safe environment ? And I think the bf later moved in.
Cher? Madonna?
ReplyDeleteMadonna
ReplyDeleteLourdes seems like such a normal well adjusted girl despite who her mother is so I'd hate for it to be her but that sounds likes something Madonna would do.
ReplyDeleteLourdes and Madonna
ReplyDeleteThat's 100% Madonna. Lordes was probably 13 at the time.
ReplyDeleteYeah, this has Madonna written all over it.
ReplyDeleteWhich that is so wrong. Your mother shouldn't be your sex therapist.
ReplyDeleteWhat was Madonna doing in the next room? Marathoning Breaking Bad? Knitting?
ReplyDeleteYoga?
DeleteKegels?
She was probably taking a bunch of ill advised selfies
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of questions?
ReplyDeleteDunno why my first thought was Whitney Houstion.
ReplyDeleteGossip Monster! Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteI have no guesses.
Thanks Pip
DeleteShe prob thought that was VOGUE.
ReplyDeleteSYF, I had the same first thought.
ReplyDelete@Catherine... Great minds...
DeleteI thought Madonna while reading it but it could be Whitney. She was getting high in the next room.
ReplyDelete@hohot, yep. That's what I pictured too. Thinking one would have to be high to do such a thing.
DeleteJust. So. Wrong. Talk about a helicopter Mom.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the Madonna guess.
"Mommy, why is he making such an ugly face?"
ReplyDeleteMadonna - "how many times did he make an ugly face?"
"Just once, but..."
Madonna - "Get back to it, and don't talk to me until he makes 2 more ugly faces. We have a reputation to uphold. When ur finished I'll buy you a Hello Kitty Vibrator."

ReplyDeleteI thought this was already revealed as someone else though? ?
ReplyDeleteAnyone else remember this blind?
Melanie Griffith I think?
Jada and Willow Smith maybe
ReplyDeleteAgree with sugarbread that this blind sounds familiar but perm A list singer wouldn't be Melanie or Jada. That doesn't mean they didn't do the same thing or that there wasn't a similar blind that said actress.
ReplyDeleteThis is also Shirley McClain.
ReplyDelete@Glitter is right.

Delete@sugarbread - you are not wrong.
ReplyDeleteCdan link: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 04, 2013 - Shirley Maclaine Waited Outside The Room While Her Daughter Lost Her Virginity
Adding to the devil's advocate line, "next room" in a big-ass house/apartment could be pretty far away but still home and generally around, not outside the bedroom door with her ear pressed to it.
ReplyDeleteMaclaine is not a singer. She may have done it too but not answer to this blind. Maybe Madonna did it because she heard Maclaine did.
ReplyDelete..oh my Lourdes, how awkward..
ReplyDeletethanks ladies "it was like deja vu all over again!!"
ReplyDeletei knew i heard this before or lazy fugazzi enty thought we weren't quick enough on the draw.
thanks for making sure i wasn't going craycray
@7 did you wander to the last reveal yesterday about kourtney and see what i had to say about yessica alba's little baby?? thoughts?
i bought bo wine last night pinot grigiot and have it cold waiting for 6pm true blood shtfest
Holy inappropriate, Batman!!! Well, at least she can afford therapy...
ReplyDeleteWell, Madonna DID write the book on it...
ReplyDeleteThis is something a true narcissist would do, so my vote is for both Shirley McClain and Madonna. How about not making it about you, ladies? Kids are perfectly able to figure things out on their own, and if they need help, will likely go to their peers, not their parents.
ReplyDeleteFirst, ewww.
ReplyDeleteSecond, if it were Madonna, the boy would be dangerously close to her dating range, "mom approved"?
I can't even with this
ReplyDeletepretty sure that is permanently damaging
Whitney Houston. Im guessing this is an old blind as she was whacked out enough to do such a thing.
ReplyDeleteSYF that was my first thought too.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, everyone? I mean, I do realize the POINT of the website IS to judge the people in the blinds, but this is waaaay more pearl-clutching than I would've expected!

My browser was acting wonky so I didn't finish my post.
ReplyDeleteAfter Whitney I thought it had to be Madonna. What mother would want to do that? If your daughter wants to confide in you she will.
BTW Bobbi Kristina says she's the only one who can portray her late mother in a film.
That's hilarious! Bobbi Kristina playing Whitney! WTF?! Hilarious.
ReplyDeleteits super creepy

Nope...don't believe this. Madonna is a very strict parent I've heard. Her kids weren't even aloud to watch TV apparently.
ReplyDeleteI wish Madonna had been "on call" for my first time.
ReplyDeleteMe *peeking out of door* "Hey, Madge, can you come here for a minute?"
Madonna *takes off bifocals, puts down Vogue*: "Yes, NomNom?"
NomNom: "I know that I'm the virgin, but this guy seriously needs some coaching on taking it slow. He just jammed it in!"
Madonna *pushing past me*: "Hey, what the hell do you think you're doing?!..."
Didn't Angie Jolie say that her first sexual experience was home bc her mom wanted it to happen in a safe environment ? And I think the bf later moved in.
