I'll admit I saw it last night. Inertia had set in and I didn't have the remote. The lady on the right comes close to my mental image of what @auntliddy looks like, but Liddy has red hair.
A friend of mine appeared on Jeopardy and was so far behind in FJ she couldn't win; the question was about the planets and she deliberately wrote down a wrong answer ("What is Uranus") just so she could make Alex Trebek say "YOUR ANUS."
BTW I watched last night and the guy did a great impression earlier in the game. I got FJ right!
I lurve Jeopardy. I was on it once. Only once. As in, I didn't win. Got second though and won a trip to Ireland (this was back in the day when second and third place got prizes instead of cash) ... my mom was from Ireland and had never been back so I took her and it was magical. She saw her family for the first time in 30+ years. Four years later she had a massive stroke and was a total care patient. I will always be so grateful that I was able to do that for her while there was still time. Happy memories of Jeopardy forever. But Alex Trebek is a bit of an asshole IMO.
