Apparently the allergic reaction Miley Cyrus suffered last month is still making her sick. Yesterday Miley's people announced she would be canceling the first few shows of the European leg of her tour. Her doctor's told her she is not well enough to travel. I guess that means if she is not well enough to get on a plane to Europe then she is not well enough to perform either. The May 6 show in London is still scheduled to take place. Doesn't she need to rehearse? When is that going to take place? The whole thing seems kind of strange. She can't travel because she is too sick. That means she is probably not rehearsing either but suddenly in five days everything will be fine and she will be ready to go? She was originally hospitalized on April 15 so May 6 would be 21 days. Not quite long enough for a 30 day rehab period. I wonder if that London show will get postponed to a later date and Miley isn't actually performing until after the 15th of this month.
If she's sick, she's sick. If she's in rehab it really isn't any of our business.

ReplyDeleteMiley may be annoying and out there, but from all accounts, she puts on a good show. An allergic reaction to an antibiotic isn't far-fetched, especially if pneumonia comes into the picture.

ReplyDeleteShe might have used whatever the situation is to reach out to any of her fans who might be experiencing similar difficulty. An "If I can do it, you can do it" sort of thing. Let's hope that's coming at some point.

I'm a big Miley fan, I respect anyone who remains true to herself and doesn't give a Fuck what anyone thinks despite hoards of people constantly doing everything they can to break her. She is actually talented, she's a good performer and she's 21. I was half naked with purple and turquoise striped hair, tons of piercings and a love of ecstasy when I was 21 so I can't fault her for that. I don't think the youngins should be obsessed With her but you can't blame Miley for some wahoo letting her 10 year old imitate her.

ReplyDeleteI think she's cute. Like most people, I got tired of the tongue and twerking stuff though. I hope she gets better soon and back on her feet. I recall Brittany, Christina and Mariah going into hospitals too at some points early in their careers. I know she's legal and everything, but I still see her as a kid, and it's a shame that a child is in the hospital for any reason - especially from drugs/exhaustion.

ReplyDeleteI've just been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. They can take quite sometime to diagnose the exact disease they are dealing with. Maybe Miley is actually sick? I'm so wiped out,I don't even.remember the person I was a month ago.

ReplyDeleteCanceling shows is always the paying ticket holders business. And Miley hasn't just done things privately. She has done them publically with the specific intention of of it been seen and known. And then bragged in interviews about her drug use and love.

ReplyDeleteI would never take my kids to see her in concert as she is now. I took them on the last tour right after Hannah Montana and it was great, saw her backstage and everything. I knew her when she was little.
ReplyDelete(Hugs) Deree. I have an autoimmune as well. It DOES take forever to diagnose and the fact that such a young girl isn't bouncing back from an "infection" can be indicative of one. It takes me 6x as long to recover from things.

DeleteYep there are a few diseases particularly autoimmune ones that are not easy to diagnose. Aren't the tabloids saying it's her heart? Thought I saw that on a newstand at the grocery store.

A friend of mine took her son to one of the shows. She said it was really good and not as bad or raunchy as people have been saying.
ReplyDeleteMiley doesn't strike me as the type to do really hardcore drugs, I think she is way too smart for that.
I don't think she would really need to practice for a show, she prolly spent months rehearsing, and would slip back into it easily.
Whatever her illness is, I hope she recovers quickly.
yeah i was sick for years trying to find out what was wrong and found out it was 2 types of autoimmune. there are some days i just spend it all in bed. i am tired all the time, no energy, she could easily have aid

ReplyDeleteSome of the treatments used to treat a reaction to antibiotics, not the reaction itself, could very well make her unable to perform or travel for this length of time. Also the reaction could have been the symptom of something more serious as others have stated.

I know that certain businesses that she used to go to would brag that she went to such and such school and this store, gym, etc in TN and all that bragging stopped this past year. She has the soulful voice of a country singer. I still like some of her songs but if I see that damn tongue one mo time...her mom and dad were very much in love before Hollywood and after he made it big w his one hit. I'm glad they've stuck it out whatever they've faced.
