Since I don't care about getting a magazine cover, I'll say it: Anna Wintour's dress is singularly un-spectacular. In fact, I wondered if she chose it for the irony.
This gal Sarah Silversomething looks like she is behind a counter.
Pretending to be elegant doing unnatural contortions and posing like a caricature of some old cliched image of elegance, is not elegant. Example: Blake Lively, Taylor, and the aforementioned Sarah. Elegance is subtle, natural, and comes from within. Most celebrities aren't.
Taylor is so corny, uninteresting and futile... I bet behind her diabetes-inducing image, there are some dark secrets...
Alba's dress looks like an ill fitting 70's wedding dress. Lea Michele looks like the friend that skipped the wedding to get turned down at the door at Studio 54.
I wish I could pinpoint exactly what Zooey has done to her face so I could figure out why she looks so weird. Mad props for that white and dark navy half moon manicure though. Her dress is great and the nails kicked it up a notch.
Blake Lively makes me wish I'd appreciated my body more in my mid-20s. It really was a glorious time. Her outfit is yawn worth for a met gala gown, but it does look lovely on her.
Kate Mara's wearing the drapes and her hair looks like shit.
Go home, Chloe Sevigny. You're over.

Pretty people in pretty dresses. Except Chloe. She's always bugged me for some reason. And Lea, but I feel like Lea is ugly on the inside, which makes it hard for me to think about her in objective terms.
Silverman looks fantastic!! Maybe she's trying a bit hard, but I usually hate her on sight, and I think she looks gorgeous here!!
I liked Blake better when she was Serena. She's still gorgeous, but she's got the look of warm tap water now - great if you need water, but nothing you're seeking out otherwise.
Lea Michelle looks like she is playing dress up in one of Mayim Bialik's old costumes from the movie Beaches. I thought Blake Lively really pulled off the old Hollywood look. Most don't seem to care for Anna Wintours dress but I really like it. Lovely fit, nice textures, and the shoulders very flattering.
Wow I have to admit Blake Lively good job, Sarah Silverman who knew you could scrub up so well!!!???? Lea baby rouching is supposed to make you look slimmer but it makes her look she has a baby bump
