Jackie Lynn Taylor, who was an original member of The Little Rascals released in 1934, has died. She was 88. She is pictured in the middle of the photo above. She was replaced when she got too tall.
I recognize Spanky and Stymie in that pic. I remember watching a lot of Little Rascals when I was a kid. When there were only 3 stations to choose from on Saturday morning, you couldn't be picky.
I sorta feel that Jackie Lynn Taylor is a very modern sounding name for someone who was 88. I always picture women that old with more old-fashioned names like Beatrice, Agnes, Joan, etc.
I live near the crime scene, I frequent a place on that street. Years ago I parked my new car in the sane parking spot and someone crashed into my car! What a dummy I was and what a bad vibe in that spot. Argh!

ReplyDeleteI was looking up about these actors yesterday when I heard about her death. Most of them died relatively young.

ReplyDeleteMy brother and I would smoke pot and watch reruns of The Little Racals, The Three Stooges and SCTV. Ahhh, the good ol' days.
