Blind Items Revealed

December 11, 2013

This is a short but sad story about a celebrity who used to be close to A list. He was and still is a celebrity/actor/reality star. While most people in his position would be enjoying the fruits of their success and partying non-stop our celebrity lives alone and travels alone and stays in hotel rooms alone. Although he has some friends he doesn't interact and because of childhood trauma he just prefers to not interact unless he is on stage or being paid to do so. He is still in demand but as the years go by, he is less willing to face his demons and much prefers to just spend as much time as he can in his home, cut off from the world with just a television and a sofa and a bed and himself. In a world of excess and frivolity, this guy is the opposite. Whenever I see him wandering through the airport or hiding in the corner of an event alone and uncomfortable all I want to do is give the guy a hug.

  1. I'll be dull and say I've no idea who he is. But it's sad anyway. Don't know why he does what he does if he's so miserable though.

  2. You are loved, Louie.

  3. Awwww, this makes me so sad.

  4. He paid off a guy he propositioned, then the guy tried blackmailing him. Probably has self-loathing issues over his sexuality.

  5. He's always had a sad looking face and I don't mean that as an insult. No one knows what it's like to be the sad man🎵 I want to give him a hug too.

  6. I dont know why but it seems most comics have issues. Maybe they became comics because they lacked self -esteem growing up or had no friends because they were considered outcasts or not cool?

  7. I SWEAR I thought he had a wife and kids back in MN before he got national exposure.

  8. Ah yes, I wasn't imagining it:

  9. heard once that his family comes with a lot of drama, heard he has a mentally ill ill brother and the whole family feeds off louie. Plus he has to deal with his own closeted issues, would depress anyone

Louie even in his humour seems like such a sweet guy.

  12. Does this mean he isn't the answer to the blind about the dude who would line up a rainbow of cock to play with?

    1. Still could be him, @Count. But even as he surveyed the magnificent rainbow of cocks before him, he felt pain and disengagement inside.

He still used them, but he shed a tear.

Sorry guys, no idea who this is

  13. I can still recall some of his hilarious routines, like the one about his mother who cut the electrical cords off appliances before throwing away the appliances.

  14. No one guessed him for this blind, but there was a similar depressing blind that he was the popular guess for. Sad to read this, there was a point in time he was one of my top five fave comedians.

  15. Louie grew up with an asshold of a father
    I hope he finds happiness

  16. @Sandybrook Comedy, even thought it seems like it would be the opposite, for the most part comes from a dark place, the pain helps with the creative process. When I say pain, I'm speaking more of anger than anything, after all, have you ever had pain that didn't make you mad?

Why do you think I come on here and make so many bad jokes? Sure, you want the audience to enjoy the jokes but really you are doing it for yourself. You try to make sense of all the ghosts hanging around in your head. You want to prove you just as good as your cousin you're always compared to, to prove to the girl who cheated on you with your best friend in college was out of her mind for doing it.

Comedy is pretty much a therapy session only you aren't going to have someone like Fraiser sitting in a chair asking asking about your mother, no your therapist is everyone who gears or reads your material.

  17. So, let me get this straight - a person that doesn't interact with his friends regularly, doesn't flaunt his wealth, doesn't party in excess and doesn't travel with a group of wannabe, money-grubbing bloodsuckers is automatically a sad and lonely guy? Maybe he is just a responsible, financially fiscal individual that is putting his money away for the eventual day that he is not in demand and not booking shows nonstop. Professional and low-key doesn't always equal lonely and sad.

  18. I agree. It seems to me that Louie doesn't need a bunch of sycophants around him, that's he's trying to stay away from the wrong crowd and playing it safe. He wants to outlive the other people with the parties, drugs and fake friends.

  19. I saw his act at a Indiana Casino years ago. Great show. If Louie is ever at a casino near you, go. It's worth the trip.

Anyways, after the show he spent hours at the high limit slots ($50 a pull). Didn't talk to my mom when she tried to tell him great show. She thought he was on the autism scale.

  20. Iheard he committed suicide a Long time ago, I never questioned it. He always struck me as angry and full of self loathing.

  22. @Rowdy I can believe it the funniest comics are clowns and most clowns are sick f*cks.

  23. Like one of my faves poor Richard Jeni shooting himself in the head. :(

  24. So many comedians have the most tortured lives. I guess that goes for most true artists, but it's just weird to think that so many people who make us laugh are living in agony. Even Ellen is rumored to be a majorly depressed headcase.

  25. We would make great friends...story of my life. Depression is a bitch!

    1. Me too, MissInfo. Although, I'm probably at my happiest when I'm alone on the couch watching TV. The moments when I get to be a complete introvert and shut off from the world are the most comforting, for me. Depression deprived me of any desire to be the life of the party.

  26. Sorry to hear MissInfo. Hugs to you now.

Agreed Rowdy, humor comes from a dark place. If I can make everyone laugh they won't see the pain. So very, very true.

  27. One bit of his that I always think of and it makes me laugh EVERY TIME, is "You've heard about these new cookies, "Almost Home"? Yeah. That's about how far I get 'em." *snort*

Introverts are awesome! Go see him if you can. He's brilliant!

  28. I finally got to see Richard Jeni in person right before he died. I never laughed so much in my life, I loved him ever since seeing his first HBO show in the early eighties.Part of the problem is seeing non funny comedians getting TV shows that somehow succeed but as far as true talent it is the show writers that are the true laugh masters I could see winding up playing small clubs after showing sheer comedic genus for decades would depress anyone! I still miss him.

  29. @Bitchy I would've loved to have seen him in person. I miss him still too. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard during his specials! The Jaws skit still slays me!

  30. I really can't watch most " comedians" at clubs or bars or even TV that use profanity to get laughs. Even a Robin Williams can get unwatchable for me. I'm not normally a prude but if you want to hone your craft you shouldn't have to rely on constant profanity to get fake laughs. The stories and jokes they tell are usually funny enough that they don't need the insertion of f**ks and c**ts and go**dmns to fill out the routine.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The tortured artist is real, but also a contrived mystique by some. And there are also comedians that just like the laughs (not big on comedians but Seinfeld comes to mind). I'm sorry this guy is either sad or financially/emotionally sound (agreeing with @Blogger101 and @Studio54), without knowing anything else about him but this reveal, it could be either!

Clowns though - they're just creepy!

  32. @b626...that is one of my favorite movies if all times! I loved Louie in it!

  33. I thought he was dead. I think I got him mixed up with the other fat comic -- john candy. I hope he gets help for his issues.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I looked him up. I never knew his name. Sometimes life does people like this.

  35. Errrrm...nailed it

  36. YOU LIE!

There was absolutely no nailing by you, my finy saucy lass. Unless you used a whiffle bat?

  37. WHAT??!! Alita, are you doubting my ability to bend the space-time continuum? I think I did nail it.

  38. Ellen DeGeneres is the only comic I can think of that doesn't seem to have that extreme dark side to their personality...and I'm sure someone on here has worked with her before and will give me the real scoop.

  39. Extroverts always think Introverts want friends and to be around people, but the truth is we would rather not.

They enjoy the solitude just like extroverts enjoy the companionship.
