This former indie queen who was the first indie queen and has made some truly amazing movies with "that guy" continues heading off the deep end which is why "that guy" has been avoiding her calls to put her in his new thing. The other night she was at an event and was walking up to men and asking if they thought her breasts were sagging and if she needed a boob job and was encouraging men to touch them.
The show she wanted to be on was canceled.
Parker posy
ReplyDeleteRichard linklater
maybe parker posey
ReplyDeleteoh snap tricia
ReplyDeleteLast you spelled her last name right lol!!!
ReplyDeleteParker Posey
ReplyDeleteChristopher Guest
Show: Family Tree
HBO canceled which was a shame it was funny just took a while to kick in. Chris O'Dowd was great in it.
It got cancelled?!?!? NOOOOO!!!!! But that POS Girls is still on?!
DeleteFuck I love Chris
DeleteA+ guess and I'm gonna go find a tiny dark hole to curl up into and cry. Poor bb Parker.
DeleteRight you are it's guest
ReplyDeleteGreat films being for your consideration, best in show....all my faves..waiting for Huffman..
U beat me to my repost time bob
I was thinking Chloe Sevigny and Harmony Korine...
ReplyDeleteThe first indie queen has to be Parker Posey. But the asking people to feel her boobs thing? Maybe she just thought she was being quirky?
ReplyDeleteAnd even Wikipedia says she's the queen lol. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parker_Posey
ReplyDeleteYou guys are fast!
ReplyDeleteIndy Queen that I get confused with Miss Parker on the Pretender
But what was the show?
Friends with better lives?
Parker Posey and Christopher Guest. Psrker's still on good terms with Linklater. She took part in a recent awards ceremony for him.
ReplyDeleteI see that Wikipedia is a new source alongside the DM. Cool!
ReplyDelete@Timebob, I loved Family Tree! :(
Christopher Guests HBO show (which was just cancelled). http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2340036/
ReplyDeleteTimebob!
ReplyDeletebeen a while :D
I love Blair and Chuck
DeleteI love Christopher Guest, but he will always be the six-fingered man to me.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was Derek's too.
ReplyDeleteGummo will always be my favorite movie.
Except for the cat killing.
That makes WareCat sad.
@Jazzy---WHATEVA! ; )
ReplyDelete@Ware---I use to love that movie as a teen not so much anymore and yeah the cat thing was too much---my vhs tape got warped always fast forwarding that and skipping to the albino chick that loooooved her some Patrick Swayze...
Um, where are the women encouraging me to touch their breasts? Stupid, boring MidWest.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Christopher Guest's show wouldn't have been cancelled if he have Parker Posey a role. I love everything I've seen her in. I hope she really isn't going off the deep end.
ReplyDeleteLolol!!
ReplyDeleteDerek, the deaf ppl fighting in the bowling alley.
That movie has the best quotes.
"She smells like baked ham."
"Dnt shoot it, it's a house cat."
"It's a lesbian cat."
"Looks like my mom."
I'm jumping on this opportunity to talk about Christopher Guest's mockumentaries. Best in Show and Waiting for Guffman are my most favorites. Anyone else?
ReplyDeleteSpinal Tap, woohoo, EastCoaster!
DeleteAlways and forever Christoper Guest! All of them are great!! LOVE the funny!!
DeleteA Mighty Wind is my fav!
ReplyDeleteGotta go with Spinal Tap, EastCoaster, with Best in Show a close second.
ReplyDeletePoor thing was in Grace of Monaco. Can't blame Parker for that messing her up a bit.
ReplyDeleteLove you too @Sillygurl lol
ReplyDeleteFamily Tree was officially cancelled in January, but there was little suspense over it.
ReplyDeleteThe show was just pleasant, with nothing outstanding compared to the previous Guest efforts. The big issue was that you never wanted at the end of an episode to see right away the next one. O'Dowd's friend was basically a Ricky Gervais impersonator, and I never got the point of the ventriloquist sister apart from the fact that the actress was a ventriloquist.
Oh yeah... Spinal Tap! The mockumentary that started them all!
ReplyDeleteChristopher Guest whose friends call him Baron Haden-Guest, of Saling in the County of Essex. Which makes Jamie Lee Curtis a Baroness. Not bad for the daughter of Bernard Schwartz from the Lower East Side of New York.
ReplyDeleteAll true but I highly doubt his friends call him Baron, lazydays. Maybe just Chris.
DeleteOT, Helena bonham carter
ReplyDeleteHmm I always think of Wino as the OG indi chick. Guess I missed the Posey movie oeuvre - probably too busy watching Heathers ;)
ReplyDeleteI realize I'm late to this but the pin off , How I Met Your Dad (Father), with indie star Greta Gerwig was canceled before it even went into production.
