This foreign born B+ list entertainer(singer) who could move up to A if she is not a one hit wonder split with her boyfriend because she is seeing someone else. She doesn't want to announce the split though because the guy she is seeing is much older and her boyfriend doesn't know she cheated.

ReplyDeleteIF this is Lorde, than the reasons she would be so concerned are because:
ReplyDelete1. her fans love her devoted relationship with her young boyfriend and that a big star is with a normal everyday guy.
2. most people can't get over the fact that a 16 year old teenager looks like a 40 year old woman. Some have accused her of lying about her age.
3. this isn't the type of publicity she needs at this point in her career. She may have more than one hit, but I doubt that she has any growth potential past Goth Teen Angst.

ReplyDeleteI'm voting for Lorde for the exact reasons Dingle listed. She's only 16 so someone in their 20's or, horrors, 30's would be very frowned upon.
if lorde or iggy are one hit wonders, then the author has zero credibility. only someone who vaguely pays attention to pop music would even know their names. if enty is an insider, then he would pay attention to the fact that each of these has multiple hits.
