Terry Richardson got busted for trying to exchange sex for a Vogue photo shoot yesterday. Emma Appleton, a model, was supposed to do a Vogue shoot and Terry Richardson offered to shoot her in exchange for sex. When news media asked Richardson about it, his people said the account was fake. Emma doesn't think it is is fake. Shortly after she Tweeted a screenshot of what Richardson sent her, she started getting abuse from people on Twitter who think Terry being a predator is a good thing. She deleted her Twitter account, but on Instagram, released the following statement.
Anything's possible online. It's b.s. day at CDaN apparently.
ReplyDeleteTerry's alleged MO is to put on his "moves" during the ahoot, not scare them away too soon.
DeleteYeah, this is not proof at all.
ReplyDeleteHey everybody!
ReplyDeleteThis doesn't surprise me at all. I think Terry Richardson is a pig.
I feel sorry for the model either way. Whether it's authentic or not.
ReplyDeleteAnd people still wonder why rape is not reported.
ReplyDeleteHi Leeky. You don't have to think he's a pig, he is a pig.
ReplyDeleteHey Sandy!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy he was up front with her.
ReplyDeleteeven in a small market, as a model, i get shtuff like this all the time. luckily, since the market is small, there is not much pressure and i am friendly with 99% of people, including photographers.
ReplyDeletebut this for sure does happen and i would love if he gets his punishment, publicly, and that the fashion industry gets a little less skeezy.
Fucking pig! At least Vogue finally commented they will not be shooting with Uncle Terry. Go to buzzfeed to read about his trysts. ICK
ReplyDeleteMorning, Leeky!
ReplyDeleteI have no qualms whatsoever believing this about skeezy Terry. When that other young model talked about him, she got the (metaphorical) shaft, too. His pictures really aren't that amazing (come on, Miley), he's just a skeeze in Valley of the Dolls.
His pics look like what a sexual predator would do in his basement. He's the neighbor your parents warned you to stay away from.
ReplyDeleteHey Seven!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, sleazy shit like this from Terry Richardson doesn't surprise me. What does surprise me though, is how models and celebrities think he's hot shit. He must have the best drugs or something because his photos are mediocre at best.
ReplyDeleteyou dont knwo if its him or not but you put it on twitter?
ReplyDeletewhat abt your agents?
your agency?
other models?
NOOOooooooo you put it on twitter before your even sure
THATS what i haave the issue with
well he prob deserves this whether its him or not
ReplyDeletebut not knowing the origin and posting this is suspect......
on the fence here
It's him he just got caught...Nothing new outta Creepy Uncle Terry.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletefrom all the other screen grabs of him doing this it's his pattern. 100% think it is real, he dangles the carrot and expects sexual satisfaction in return. And then will never use her pictures for Vogue. He is a pig of the worst kind.
ReplyDeleteCome on!! If stories like this continue to get so much attention how is a photographer ever going get to lay one of his models again?????
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's real but she backing down because her agency probably told her to not create a fuss. Like Hollywood $$ talk
ReplyDeleteNow this I believe. I think it's him, and I think Terry Richardson is a pig. If there is a chance that it isn't him...I still think he's a horrible pig and should rot.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand how he has gained such notoriety in the first place. Every single picture I've ever seen of his is the subject, usually in various states of undress, in front of a plain white wall. You could pull literally anyone off the street who could take that same picture.
ReplyDeleteYou can smell perv from his photography and his face...I'll bet that a) it really was him and b) he drugs them too
ReplyDeleteIf you woke up tomorrow morning and found out Terry Richardson had died overnight, wouldn't the sun shine a bit brighter?
ReplyDeleteWell, she's just ended her career. Sadly, that's the way that world works.
ReplyDeleteA real oinker!
ReplyDeleteSleazeball.
ReplyDeleteActually yvettie, I was under the impression that requiring sex in exchange for work was in fact illegal.
ReplyDeleteSomething about sexual harassment laws...
