    Ms Minaj is wearing a lot of makeup. I don't know of her or if it's as heavy as it usually is, but girlfriend is packing foundation, powder, some contour powder, eyeliner, eyebrow filler, mascara, and a dusting of iridescent powder. I'm guessing she's usually Lady Gaga makeup and this is supposed to be "the real thing". It's not, ducks.

    Nikki's wearing some makeup, but I don't think as much as some people think she is, and it's definitely not as heavy or as "out there" as her usual look; she's also "in her own hair," as they used to say in the 17th century, and not wearing a wig. (Who would have thought that being a historical costume geek would come in handy on a gossip blog? ;-) It reminds me a bit of when Snooki went barefaced a few years ago; it's a far more delicately pretty look than either one of them usually goes for. (I have to wonder what's w/all the makeup, etc. for a number of female performers--is it a matter of establishing a public persona that's separate from the actual person? I know Nikki's been known to refer to herself in the 3rd person, but is she talking about herself or her "character"?)

    I only know Olivia Palermo from that reality show with Whitney from The Hills (don't judge! I used to love that shite. Plus Brody); is she more than just that? Does she do something? Important-ish?

    For those who were enquiring - Olivia Palermo is a stylist. She's one of the 'it' girls from the Hills set, and then she went on to to 'The City' with Whitney Port. The City did not show her in a good light at all - she appeared lazy, difficult to work with ... not that I know her, but I know how the production editors can easily make people out to be the villains in reality shows. She will likely succeed Anna Wintour at Vogue - if not immediately after Wintour retires, certainly within the next 20 or so years. And indeed, if you look at her haircut today, she's already emulating the middle part that Wintour sports.

    I admire JLH's work ethic ... she never sits still and seems to turn her hand to just about anything. I hope she gave her former TV colleague, Colin Egglesfield, a supportive email / call or two, after his recent antics.

    I have no idea who this Palermo woman is but I noticed that 1. Expensive short blue jacket with matching and very expensive blue belt. 2. stylishly in double breasted sweater. 3. What looks like a skirt is a dress, maybe leather that, when that supple is of course very expensive. 4. The thigh high boots (?) 5. Expensive tote.

    She's the one who is rumored to be succeeding Wintour huh?

    The natural look takes so much makeup to achieve. She isn't wearing a wig though.
