I understand that I am to hate Adrien Brody, but he was the only good thing about King Kong. And he was very good

ReplyDeleteI remember loving him in "Love the Hard Way". Total hottie! I pretty much assumed his character in that film is not too far off from who he is in real life.
Cher LLoyd is a(n allegedly) nice Limey singer. I like to see her in the pics.

ReplyDeleteGood for her if she's healthier, but she was so much more radiant, happier looking, and beautiful before the weight loss. She does not look radiant anymore. Just smaller.
You know David Beckham must have as much money as the Queen, why is he working so hard.

ReplyDeleteIf Jennifer had remained overweight, she would be mocked and some would feign fake concern for her health. She loses the weight and has kept it off, but now she's called a lollipop head and dull.
I'm not pointing you out specifically. Just how we as a so-called evolved species can't ever just leave each other alone, especially when it comes to physical appearance.
@layna: I'm not mocking her appearance either way, I'm just saying she does not look happy and radiant, as she once did.

TTM: Don't feel bad--I still like Adrien; although the crush I had on him ended a long time ago, I still think he's a damn good actor w/the right material. (Besides, his mama is none other than renowned photographer Sylvia Plachy, so there's your bit of trivia for the day.)
ReplyDeleteBack when they were filming King Kong, someone put up a website called KongisKing that was pretty much the unofficial official page of the production, complete with frequent video clips. In one of them, Peter Jackson was talking about shooting some of the shipboard storm-at-sea scenes, mentioning how the actors were wearing wet suits under their costumes, getting doused w/massive amounts of water, etc. etc. etc....at which point Adrien wandered up to tell PJ something rather important: *stage whisper* PETER...PETER...I peed in the wet suit!" The completely earnest expression on his face as he was delivering that particular bit of news still cracks me up whenever I think about it. ;-) Also, while he was in NZ filming, his mom received some award or another, and he decided to surprise her by sending a video clip of him to be played at the awards ceremony--he came bursting out of what was clearly supposed to be jungle, breathless, apologizing to his mom for not being there because he was being chased by natives/giant apes/etc., but letting her know he hadn't forgotten about her, at which point he unbuttoned his shirt to reveal a hand-drawn Magic Marker "MOM" heart tattoo on his chest. It was just way too damn cute... :-)

I am not digging the hair on JHud and I cannot stand her singing/screaming. Her dress looks painful.
WHY must we in America wait so long for Downton Abbey? Just wrong. Crila16: I miss Matthew too(and Mary is insufferable)but he thought he was going to be a huge movie STAH! and left them in the lurch. Kinda wrong...
Gotta agree Jennifer doesn't look happy. My guess is she is at a weight that is too low for her to maintain easily, and she has to starve herself to stay at the weight she is at. I've been there, done that and it's not worth it. Better just to let a few pounds come back on IMO.
