MH 370 May Have Landed

No debris has ever been found on the surface of the ocean. No debris has washed up on any shore. The pinging that investigators once believed was from black boxes has now been classified as something else. Over a month has passed since the disappearance of MH 370, and investigators are no closer now to finding it, then they were the day after it crashed. Some sources within the investigation now believe the plane may have landed. That would kind of jibe with what some witnesses reported seeing and that whole passenger cell phone ringing thing that occurred after the plane supposedly crashed.

How about this for a thought? People in a position in the Malaysian government to screw with the investigation and the radar were bought off or helped for personal reasons. The pilot was involved. That is all you really need. It is hard to steal a plane and get away with it, but it is not as hard to make a plane turn and avoid bought off radar coverage on a flight on a weekend during the middle of the night.

You then throw enough false leads out or misinformation to keep everyone focused on other things for a few days until it is too late to do anything. Remember how no one knew where to search the first few days. No other governments were willing to help and the big countries of the world were all caught up with Russia and Ukraine.

If a plane crashed or ditched in the sea, even if it stayed intact, which seems impossible, wouldn't something float to the surface or to shore?

  1. i agree.

This plane was hi-jacked, the people were killed and it landed in a different country.

  2. As tragic and twisted as the situation is, im fascinated by this... Just bought The Langoliers this weekend because of this

  5. I'm in total agreement with this post. I've believed all along that it landed somewhere. Disinformation and distraction... Now, where? and for what purpose (s)? are the pertinent questions.

  7. I believe that other countries indeed offered help it was the Malaysian government that was not accepting help until later.

Well if one was a Jack Bauer 24 Hour fan one might surmise this was a political assassination done the hard way, to someone not of interest to anyone outside Malaysia or China and they are both in cahoots to keep this quiet?

  8. Why wouldn't they just buy their own plane rather than deal with all of the passengers?

  10. However it took 2 years to find the wreckage of that Air France jet and they knew where it hit the ocean in the first place.

  11. I would also think if it exploded wouldn't someone have seen and heard something like a big boom and a fireball in the sky? Certainly there would have been some wreckage found as well, either in the water, floating on top of, or under the water. It's always possible it was hijacked and landed somewhere hidden deep in a jungle somewhere...but where are all the passengers and are they still alive?

  12. If one of the passengers was someone they wanted and you get a free plane.

My uncle was talking about an island out there, Diego Garcia? That has a landing strip, all military, etc. I wasn't paying much attention, but this fits with what I caught of his opinion on it

    1. @ Vera, there are some who believe that it was headed to Diego Garcia (U.S. military base in the middle of the Indian Ocean) and before it could land it was shot down by the U.S. military...if it had landed there, the U.S. govt would have returned the passengers to their home countries.

  18. It could well take months, years, or decades for any debris to wash ashore anywhere, if it ever does at all since over 70% of the Earth's surface is water and in many places that water is already contaminated with tons of other debris.

I agree that the Malaysian government handled this badly--about as badly as anyone could imagine--but that doesn't necessarily indicate that some kind of conspiracy was involved. There's an old saying that goes, "Never ascribe to malice that which could be put down to stupidity or incompetence," and that saying's applicable here. If some terrorist--or would-be terrorist--group had hijacked the plane in-flight, why haven't they proclaimed their "victory"? That's what terrorist groups do. Such groups and such people gain nothing by pulling off some caper for which they never get "credit." Nor would any nation have any incentive to grab such a plane. It isn't as though the Boeing 777 is some sort of secret. Those aircraft have been flying around the world for years. Any nation that wants one can simply buy one with few, if any, questions asked. After all, Boeing is perfectly willing to sell one to anyone or any group who's able to pony up the cash.

Personally, I think the investigators were probably closer to finding it a few weeks ago when they were investigating debris about 1,500 miles SW of Australia, before anyone claimed to have heard "pings" from any so-called "black boxes." For those who were following the story closely, that twist occurred just about the same time that experts were warning that any pings those things could be sending out were right on the verge of ending due to run down batteries. And yet all of a sudden, none of that seemed to matter. The sounds supposedly had to be coming from black boxes, even though only hours earlier everyone involved had assured the public that such sounds could only be heard from a platform practically right on top of the wreckage, and that any sounds had to end within hours--or days at most--because of the condition of the batteries.

I doubt now that any wreckage will ever be found unless by sheer happenstance. But I would be interested in hearing, if those sounds weren't coming from an aircraft's black boxes, what were they coming from?

  19. I find it very strange that 20 passengers on board were involved in cutting edge electronic technology used for defense purposes, including electronic warfare, such as weapons that can "cloak" or make planes invisible, appearing to vanish. I believe the Government is behind it and wanted those 20 people.Diego Garcia is where a lot of people believe it landed.USA uses it and it has a landing strip large enough to land that plane.

Enty, dude, you have no concept of how vast any ocean on Earth is compared to how big even an entire 777 is.

I'm not saying the plane did crash, much less that it crashed where they say it did -- I'm not saying it didn't, I don't know and neither does anyone else -- but it's far from a foregone conclusion that there would be debris.

  27. If you're going the conspiracy route, the manifesto is one place to start. I like the idea of wanting someone on that plane - I just can't reconcile the fact about the witnesses.

If corporate executives were on that plane, and had cloaking knowledge/patents (as someone else mentioned), wouldn't sending a private jet from a shell company be more efficient, and less attention grabbing?

Unless they wanted the plane. But it's not exactly like you can hide that in your backyard.

  33. That plane did not land at an airstrip. There are only a few, relatively speaking, that can handle that aircraft within its range. They have all been checked and backtracked with satellite imagery and assets on the ground, trust me.
Finding that debris among the other debris more than 1000 miles from anywhere is not proving to be easy. The plane might have been ditched at sea, which would leave very little debris at all.

  35. please. what is the end game? to steal the plane? kidnap a few of the passengers? If you let the people live, you have hundreds of witnesses, but more importantly, the world aviation authorities know the plane was stolen so it isn't worth anything. If you kill everyone, you've made potentially enemies you can only dream of since you can't predict who will be on the plane. silly, soulless exploitation of a tragedy.

  36. People are really underestimating the size of the search area and the visibility of comparatively small pieces of debris from the air.

If the crash location was found within the first week or two then probably debris could've been found floating. However over time pieces become waterlogged and sink and the quite massive storms and currents that occur in that part of the Indian Ocean would break up and disperse debris quite effectively .

    ReplyDelete
  37. I`m not an expert but I suspect that the current could disperse any debris over tens of thousands of square miles by now.

    ReplyDelete

    1. I'm no expert either @D Brown, just a big fan of Occam's razor.

Yes current dispersal - but there was also a massive cyclone out in the search area just after the crash.

Wouldn't have made it any easier.

    2. That's what I'm thinking too- it's been weeks, and the current and weather could have scattered stuff everywhere. Plus they've been all over the map with where they think the plane went, so they might not even be looking in the right area.
It is an interesting mystery, but I hope they're able to find something that would give the families closure.

  38. I feel bad when these stories come out. As interesting as these theories are they are most likely not true and just give family members false hope. Some of them will believe these but it's better to hold out a small hope that they might be somewhere released or found in months and not already dead.

Sooner or later someone gets a case of conscience, or gets drunk and starts to brag, or has to let their girlfriend or boyfriend in on the secret, or has a deathbed conversion, or something.

As the theme song to Pretty Little Liars says, two can keep a secret if one of them is dead.

  51. Here's a joke: if a plane falls in the ocean and no one is around does it make a sound.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I have a hard time believing it landed somewhere. There's just no way, with all those people on board (never mind who might be on the ground), that word wouldn't get out. If you assume that most people on board had cell phones, and those people tried texting or calling someone, we would have heard by now.

And as someone mentioned upthread (Robert?), if it were terrorists, they would make damn sure we all knew it was them.

Are there submarines under water looking around? What about drones - surely they would be able to spot wreckage?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yeah...this thing didn't crash. There's absolutely no signs of that. No debris and no black boxes were working. A huge plane cannot just disappear into thin air. Something's up. The plane was hijacked and the people with it. I don't know what the reasoning behind it was though...but it's too suspicious...unless aliens.

I feel so horribly for the families. It's the not knowing that must be killing them.

  54. That plane was not headed to Diego Garcia; people are trying to conjure crap up. Though DG has an airstrip, a plane that large would barely fit in that island. DG is smaller than most airports. Simple mathematics.

And there's no way a rogue plane flies into British territory and US military airspace and expect to land.

They lost cabin pressure, everyone passed out, and plane stayed on autopilot til it crashed in the ocean.

  62. This was definitely a cover-up. We have satellites everywhere. Are you telling me, no satellite could have found where this plane was last seen, but a satellite can tell you what people were on a corner 3 days ago? I think the plane landed elsewhere. Someone important was on that plane. Where's Jack Bauer when you need him?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Dear me ...

I imagine people talking in the 16C, about how insane it is to consider the world may be round, given the ground is all flat like.

    ReplyDelete
  64. @Danielle & Others

There aren't any satellites that can tell you who was on a street corner. That's just Hollywood fantasy, satellites have nothing like that resolution.

The GeoEye satellite which is the highest res commercial satellite has a colour resolution of 64 inches per pixel. Even if the gubmint had 10x the resolution (which they aint) you still can't make out anything like a face.

And remember the more you zoom in the less you see. If you could zoom in enough to make out a face you'd have to check 200 billion pictures to cover the search area.

I'm personally not convinced it's where they are looking, I don't think they are either. But I'm sure they're trying their best.

If "someone important" was on that plane, who needed "taking", he wouldn't have made it onto it in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  65. the only problem with it being used for other means is the simple fact that their are telemetry components on the plane that sync to satellites. They are needed for those parts to even work in the first place.

It is horrible that people are being led down this path which is not likely. Yes there is more to this than revealed. The plane was likely on military radars of both China and Australia. They WILL NEVER reveal this info as you don't tip your hat to the enemy about your military radar's range and capability. That info will remain secret.

That plane crashed in the water somewhere. Likely in an elaborate suicide for insurance by one of the pilots who knows as long as it wasn't found his family would be paid. Thus all the effort to hide it.

    A phone ringing means nothing.
