For the six millionth time, Lindsay Lohan slipped this weekend at Coachella. This time though it wasn't just that tiny glass of white wine. Nope. She is back on her favorite of vodka and soda and could barely stand after consuming lots of them while chain smoking cigarettes. In Touch says that she was with a group of people, including her sister and brother and Lindsay was putting away drinks just like everyone else in the group. You would think that Ali and Michael Jr. would keep her from drinking or say something to her, but they enable just like the rest of Lindsay's "friends." They don't want the party to stop or Lindsay to be sober because then she might cut them off or not invite them to things. I guess in their world it is much better to be an enabler then to be the one shut out from the party for saying something. Lindsay has said previously that she can be around other people that drink and in situations where there is booze around. She also said last week that she is in a good place and not drinking. Uh huh.
Considering the fact that her siblings were raised in the same environment and by the same people as her, I find it odd that you are questioning why they didn't say anything.

ReplyDeleteThe Lohan family does not take blame for what they do. It is so much easier to point the finger of guilt at any one and everyone else. Dina does it, as does daddy Michael. I am sure Lindsay could name a thousand other people who were to blame for her being wasted at Coachella and most likely will.

ReplyDeleteIf there's anything that makes an addict or alcoholic uncomfortable, it's the thought of having no alcohol/drugs/whatever. The second thing they fear is losing the support of their enablers: the source of their money, the 'it's just one drink' people, group acceptance (usually a bar), and people who in general, fail to call them on their bad behaviour.

ReplyDeleteI was trying to figure out why on her docu-series episode the other night all of her "friends" were Russian. Seemed odd. Also, I think the whole series has ruined any chance she had of a comeback (if she had one at all). She comes off as extremely unlikeable, self-absorbed, no respect for other people's time. She has some kind of personality disorder I am sure. I can't imagine anyone wanting to work with her after seeing this trainwreck of a show and of course she kept telling them to stop filming a gazillion times. She's a self-entitled moron and I hope she falls flat on her face and hits rock bottom. Even that may not even wake her up though. Oh well.

No surprise on any of these reveals. I don't think she was ever serious about sobriety. She was hoping to restore her reputation but torpedoed that by her behavior. Her reality show was far from reality. On the most recent episode I swear I saw her move a wine bottle from her kitchen, but it was dark and the production didn't reference it on screen. They should have hooked her up with big brother style cameras in her apartment.
ReplyDeleteShe is constantly unprofessional (showing up, not showing up at all, being rude people involved in shoots). Her own mother doesn't want her answering 'hard questions' or on camera. I'm convinced their family has no concept of reality.
I saw the wine bottle too and then she moved the camera away. She's a mess!
