    I was lucky enough to see him once when he was on tour. He was the sweetest person you would know, so grateful for his fans and their laughter.

  2. The only comment I have to offer on this (rip apart) is that it's probably amazing he actually reached 50 given his size.

  3. That's so young - the news said it was a pulmonary embolism aka blood clot. So sad for his fans.

  8. No idea who he is but 50 is very young to die.

  9. My sister introduced me to his comedy on Youtube and I was hoping to see him at one of our casinos. He was hysterically funny. His "Free Willy" routine brought tears we laughed so hard. He made fun of his weight, so sad if it had something to do with his death. Rest in peace funny guy.

  10. No autopsy is always fishy. Sure heart and liver disease are a probable cause, but so could overdose considering he was in rehab last year.

    But yes, he was a pretty funny guy.

  12. Knew him pretty well back in the high-flying comedy days of the late 80s-mid-90s when I worked at a comedy club. A very sweet and funny man.

    But he looks like the epitome of health. Next you'll be telling me Mickey Rooney is dead.

  15. Why you so big? You eat more vegetables, vegetables good for you. You so big, why you so big? You no come here anymore.

    God I loved that bit, can't tell you how many times I've referenced that one. He'll be missed.

    On the plus side, Peaches Geldoff bought the farm, too.

  17. There is no guarantee that an autopsy will find anything. My brother's came back unascertained. Some heart disease, overweight, but nothing definitive. We still believe due to his lifestyle choices his heart gave out, and that is what we tell people, easier than the speculation.

  18. You get 50 or older and weigh 300-400 pounds you do not have a lot of time left. Not a shocker. He apparently lived the way he wanted to live and went early.

  19. @TTM I know - I saw a photo of him where his jacket was absolutely hanging off of him. He must have been trying, at least.

    @Louise Yr too funny!

    Some people struggle with weight. Try being a former 300+ pound spinster, losing the weight, having all the extra skin left over you could make a stretch mark tent for 10 out if it, and then having children afterwards. Would reak havoc on a body. Better start a food blog.
