Injuries Are Piling Up In Dancing With The Stars

Last night on Dancing With The Stars, Amy Purdy performed and then had to be taken to the hospital after suffering a shoulder injury. Because of that she missed the group dance, but ended up being judged by her rehearsal performance. Meanwhile, Danica McKellar somehow managed to perform both dances despite suffering from a broken rib. That is a pretty tough thing to do. Danica is not a professional athlete and she must have been in some kind of pain to perform, and I think it is great that she managed to not quit. I think a lot of other celebrities would have quit. At the end of the night, NeNe was sent home but she said that she was proud of herself for making it as far as she did. I still think James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd are the team to beat. Teams that become couples always do better because they want to hang out more together so practice more and also have a chemistry that other do not.

  1. not interesting Enty less than 1% of America even cares that this show is on tv. Probably no one here does. None of us care about reality programming here except you and your interns.

  7. I'm happy you had a good b'day Steam, when mine comes around it usually isn't a day I choose to enjoy anymore. :(

  8. Sandy - that's a bit of a downer. Let's hope some celebs are up to no good mischief to brighten up the day.

  9. #byeNeNe

I was on Radar yesterday & they had a pic of Blohan w/ a huge coke booger.
So I'm sure one of the Enterns will call her out for relapsing today.

  12. I used to read a recap site (don't judge, it was for shows I couldn't watch in Canadiana, okay judge they were the most embarrassing shows ever - Rock of Love Bus anyone??) but eventually I stopped because even making fun of the shows was advertising them and it became really obvious. Kind of like the Soup; you're laughing but more likely to watch the shows mentioned because they've been brought up. Also Joel McHale. Sa- WOON

tl;dr: Enty is paid to promote this show. They may or may not bring him chili dogs from the pap tent in the parking lot

  14. @ sandy, I haven't for the last few, but then I decided to hell with it.
It's better to grow older when the alternative is to rot :-D
And I did have a good one, the BND brought me a card and a candle( not many know my anxiety of open flame ;-) but its a new thing, so he gets a break...lol

  17. TTM - sometimes my naivety astonishes me. I always thought those endless photos of DWTS nobodies that Enty puts on the site was a bit OTT.

    2. Why not,TTM? Everybody has a specialty. I personally would LOVE Violet's Yorkshire Pudding recipe... I'm suspect of the ones I see and I trust a daily cook that says..." Rosemary " more than...goop,say.

  24. Well, some of us watch, rude. Amy injured her back, not her shoulder. And Maks and Meryl are the ones to beat.

    1. Maks and Meryl are awesome and should have gotten straight tens last night. Damn you Len. Nene was such a bitch to never thank Tony in her kicked off speech. Poor guy he gets all the assholes.

    1. Yay, Violet! Tab is up, I think it should be easy to get to, on my profile or:

      www.webebookclubbin.blogspot.com

and is a tab called "Recipes!!" plainly enough, woo hoo!

Steamy, get that chili recipe too!

I am totally gonna nag Charlie for that Grand Marnier Cheesecake he showed off at BC

  26. I think that part of Mak's deal to return to the show was the promise of a mirror ball trophy.

A couple of weeks ago the judges kept going on about Maks being so "nurturing" to Meryl. Oh, please. He is all over her, and what difference does it make? They're both adults.

I'd like to see them win this year.

  27. Hey everybody!!! FFS. She probably didn't know going into it that she'd be safer snowboarding. Poor Amy. That girl must have some pain tolerance. I saw her sitting with her different prothetics - pumps, stillettos, at least 3 different pairs of cool boots, running shoes. Awesome!!! Danica must be having Perc sports drinks to dance with broken ribs. Quit throwing the girls around so much.

  28. Meryl and Maks for the win, but I love Danica and hope she makes the finals. James and Peta need to go next snide their romance is fake and forced, and Candace had a good week. Amy is overrated and not very fun to watch.
