Blind Items Revealed

April 1, 2013

This former Tween actress and now just a very rich celebrity has been so freaked out about an upcoming possible marriage to her boyfriend that she has started taking almost a box of laxatives a day to control her already tiny weight. Not a Disney or Nick star.

  2. Well she's still with him and still not married. And still virtually having sex with him in public museums, so all is good I suppose.

  6. As much as I'd like to drop a few pounds fast, the thought of crapping my guts out to achieve it just doesn't speak to me.

  7. 1.if you never eat what is the point of laxatives

    2. Do none of these women realize that they are ruining their bowels and they are on their way to the Depends train at a young age? How unsexy is that? I guess the other alternative is the colostomy bag.

    1. Seriously !!! Be kinder to your bodies folks !!! I deal with an incurable disease (Crohns) everyday that keeps me running to the bathroom and in horrible pain. Why would anyone want to live life like that by choice voluntaryly ???

    2. Aj I feel your pain, I also have Crohns. And I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

      Except maybe Gwyneth.

    5. UC here, and I'm glad to hear someone else talk about how much it HURTS. People don't understand that it's not just a matter of nausea...

    6. Aj, bored et all- sympathies on having Crohns. I have IBS, and something called mesenteric panniculitis. It involves same issues, nausea, cramps from hell, runs-it really is a misery. I cant eat any roughage, no fruits or veggies or whole wheat anything, almost no dairy. Soooo hard to explain that once and gad a TABLESPOON of broccoli and was ill for 3 weeks. Sorry to go on and on, just nice to talk to fellow sufferers. Be well everybody!!!!!

  8. When I was young, I must have thought to ' Die young, leave a good looking corpse' because I did some long term stupid....
The downside of living in the moment is that you don't think about the Repercussions of consequence, I know I accepted the loss of my brain cells then, but I MISS them, now.

    1. @Steampunk haven't we all ? It's a part of growing up. Your supposed to make stupid mistakes. It's how we learn our own limits.
Sadly MK has most likely been suffering through this for a long time. It's so sad bc eating disorders seem to take away common sense logic. She must know it can't be good but is in a vicious cycle.

    2. I preferred to learn from others' mistakes, even then.

  9. It amazes me that someone intelligent, with every avenue of fitness and health open to her, would do this to herself.

  15. I thought that nutritionists and eating disorder experts had debunked laxatives even making a difference towards not gaining weight, as the food still goes through the alimentary canal. Anyone know if I'm right? And if I am, then why then do folks with ED still do it?!

  16. Yes AKM...All the nutrients and calories are consumed by the time they exit, no matter how rapidly you make them to go.

BTW anyone who is constipated should know that by day 3 your body will push it out normally. I guess in some rare cases (super colon-Elvis Presley) it doesn't but usually it will.

  17. akm, perhaps they still want to feel the sensation of eating, while thinking that the calories are not being absorbed. eating is a pleasurable and enjoyable thing, and some people cant handle hunger.

It's definitely a burden that we bear that most people have are clueless about. The Crohns commercials infuriate me bc "No !!! It's not just running to the bathroom 80 times a day. ".
I would never wish pain on anyone but I wish they understood how very painful our diseases are.

  23. So it's not staying thin for her husband... it's staying thin for the magazine shots of her in a dress? Wedding Dresses don't need to be skin tight. In fact they look better when they aren't.
