Blind Items Revealed- Kindness
May 20, 2013
This actress at one point was on the cusp of A list. Has kid(s). Not married right now. Not in a relationship right now. Not really working right now. All she really tries to do is spend all of her time helping others. In the past year, despite not even really bringing home any paychecks, she has given over $1M to various programs in the city where she lives. She also got her famous family member involved in charity work and through his skill and talent, managed to raise $2M in the past six months for charities in both of the cities where they live. The two have started a foundation which they hope will raise $10M a year and for which our actress is seriously considering quitting acting to work on full-time.
Liv Tyler
Nice, but does Liv Tyler really need to 'quit acting'? Her IMDB is pretty spotty lately.
ReplyDeleteCould we have a whole day of just kindness reveals? I think we could use it this weekend.
ReplyDeleteA beauty inside and out.
ReplyDeleteSome people are just good kind-hearted folks and I think Liv certainly falls in this catagory for the exact opposite: see Lilo
ReplyDeleteHappy making blind. :)
ReplyDeleteI would imagine that she has the financial wherewithal to quit acting. If so, why not. I has to be far more rewarding helping others than dealing with the narcissistic viper's nest known as Hollywood.
ReplyDeleteSo which famous family member Steven Tyler or Jackson Browne?
ReplyDeleteI'm liking her more after reading this reveal. I'm Team Liv.
ReplyDeleteIt's very odd to read about the douchebags Kartrashians then followed by this sincere generosity by Liv Tyler.
It is a lovely thing to do and I'm not being snarky here, but I don't suppose she's living in some 2 bed one bathroom flat with no garden, and struggling to pay her energy bills, whilst she does the charity work is she. I would like to think I would do much the same if mine (and my family's) money allowed it.
ReplyDeleteOops. Actually I am being snarky. It is a good thing she does.
DeleteShe gets a pass from me after being humped and dumped by
DeleteCue ball squinty Bruce Willis.
That ass.
At least she's doing something! Kudos to her. She is gorgeous inside and out!
ReplyDeleteIs Liv related to Jackson Browne?
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteI think you mean Todd Rundgren :)

ReplyDelete^5 Liv!
ReplyDeletePs: Enty, you're boring Sugar!
Hahahahazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
DeleteYup Todd long evening early morning
ReplyDeleteFor some, making a difference is worth more than making money. Volunteers are the street soldiers, the fund raisers like Liv are the fulcrums that change lives.
ReplyDeleteThat she does this without pandering for publicity, is ....inspiring.
Maybe she just wants to give her son a normal upbringing and be there for him and not jetting to sets letting nannies raise him.
ReplyDeleteI respect her, she made some huge movies early in her career. So she could be set for life. Don't know if her ex-husband made a lot of money but i'm sure he contributes to the child's care.
I remember she got a lot of shit for not losing the baby weight fast enough from people who wanted her to get back to work drop the lbs.
Good for her for living her life the way she wants and not what the studios dictate to her.
IJust because she has plenty of money to not have to work doesn't mean this isn't an extraordinary action. She IS working now but for charity, and how many other rich folk do this?
ReplyDeleteI was in Barnes & Noble yesterday looking at the Books for Graduates table. Liv is listed as a co-author of a book on "modern manners." So she's got that revenue apart from acting.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fine woman she's grown into. What a contrast to say, Lilo or Paris Hilton. Great on her!
ReplyDeleteLeekalicious!!!
DeleteHey Steamy!
ReplyDelete@Libbyonamobile got it! Great job!!
ReplyDeleteI've met all three of Steven's daughters and they are all fantastic…now I know they all have different mom's and were raised apart…but they are great girls…
ReplyDeleteYay for Arwen!
ReplyDeleteAnd bonus smooching on Viggo!
She's always sounded like good people. I likes.
ReplyDeleteCharis: She wrote that w/her grandmother (whose name eludes me right now...Dorothea something?), who's a well-known etiquette maven in DC, IIRC. While the whole idea of the daughter of a dissolute rock star and a legendary groupie writing an etiquette manual is amusing on the surface of things, it sounds as if she took Grandma's teachings to heart, and I've always had the impression that she was a good person and devoted mother/sister/daughter. Good to hear that my instincts were on the mark!
ReplyDelete@Robin is correct, Liv's grandmother - her mother's mother- founded a protocol school in D.C.
ReplyDeleteLiv also still models, so she has money coming in. And she is supposed to be in that Leftovers show with Justin Theroux.
Liv is gorgeous. I loved her in Inventing the Abbotts, which I was actually terrified to see because I was sure the film would mangle the book but they did a great job with it.
ReplyDeleteLove, Love, LOVE Liv Tyler. I hope she will get more work because the Leftovers will be a hit. She is a true, beauuty, lovely person and I think she is a pretty good actress too.

ReplyDeleteThat's unfair. Both care very deeply about the treatment of inmates in women's detention facilities! Granted, by "inmates" I mean themselves and nobody else... :P
I love when kindness blinds are revealed. I'm with you Gee-Gee..A whole day of KR's would be nice.
ReplyDeleteGlad she's found a calling for when her acting shelf life comes up. And yeah, imagine how much better the world would be if those other fame whores did something for someone other than themselves.
I knew I loved her for a reason!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMan, those trashians are cold. Chilly. Frozen. Have they EVER given anything to anyone? Ever? Reminds me of frank mccourt quote-"He wouldn't give ya the steam off his piss", lol
ReplyDeleteAlways, always heard good stuff from people in the business about her. Very cool.
ReplyDelete@nutty @di i came to say the same things. that:
ReplyDelete1. i love liv and everything i hear about her is awesome, plus she's gorgeous.
2. her acting work seems spotty at best and thats generous, does she really need to retire from acting to focus on another career?
Aw, love her even more.
