Blind Item #8
This married foreign born former A+ list performer(singer) who is now a B- lister who keeps promising a comeback was at a show about to rehearse and ten roadies were carrying a thousand pound piece of the stage to set it in place. Our singer was standing there and wouldn't move out of the way which caused the roadies to have to slowly shift and walk around her. She just watched them the entire time.

ReplyDeleteKate Bush was so worshipped in certain circles, I think she's a possibility for this. She announced last month she's going to do 22 shows (her first shows since 1979), and I imagine given her perfectionist streak, some type of work is already underway. BTW, she sold out 22 shows at the Hammersmith Apollo (which holds 3,500 +) in 15 minutes.

ReplyDeleteIf you are, well, that whole thing where her failed marriage was blamed on her Mutt for sleeping with their friend. I've heard a lot of rumblings that she was the one having the affair with the husband of the friend first. That Mutt let her leak all that to take the blame. Also, I watched some of her reality show and she's just a hot mess. Don't remember many specifics, but I do remember rolling my eyes at lies and such.
Ya her show didn't help I liked her a lot less after it. Oh no I can't sing crisis so fake

ReplyDeleteI doubt this is Kate Bush. Yes, she has a series of concerts starting at the end of August, but she's in arrangement rehearsals and I doubt they are moving set pieces at this point. And if they were, she's such a damn perfectionist she would probably be moving them herself if she could.

ReplyDeleteI think Kate Bush is still considered A list in the UK (I don't think this sounds like her anyway). Pat Benetar maybe? That's just a guess because I've not ever heard how she treats her crew (I'd hope better than that). OH! I've just had a thought. How about Stevie Nicks? Yeah, I like her a lot better for this.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, roadies don't lift shit that weighs that much. Insurance won't allow it. That's what hydraulic lifts are for.
ReplyDeleteSecond, I know roadies and if someone is getting under foot they have no problem letting a shout at them. Star or not the stage, lights and sound need setting, so their job comes first. If she was such a big star she would know how that works.
I don't buy it.
SHANIA! She has been saying she was putting out a new album for like 12 yrs. And I'm not even a fan and remember this, because it was so shady.
