Blind Item #7

There is a video making its way around Hollywood that features this married A+ list entertainer(singer) who is way more comfortable playing her favorite instrument than acting. The reading our A lister did for a chance at a part in a movie is considered to be one of the worst auditions ever seen. She is truly awful.

      Did you ever read about how Mike Meyers made her do like 100 takes if she had to, just to get it right, cause she was awful. Apparently there was a lotttttt of takes. And I think she over acts which should have at least helped because Goldmember was purposely cheesy. Never getting an Oscar on acting talent. She wants that egot.

    I totally buy Beyonce for this one. Her acting, hell even her posing for Twitter/Instagram, is terrible. Great performer from what I've heard, terrible actor from what I've seen.

    I laughed at her IMDB, though. Papa Manager is working it. She's listed as an "uncredited performer" on an episode of Girls - the one where Hannah does her flinging arm dance in a 19 second clip. It's almost as funny as Mrs Howard Stern's IMDB.

    Simon: AFAIK, the story w/Beyonce and Jennifer is that Dreamgirls was (in her mind at least) supposed to be the movie that would make her a huge star as an actress/get her an Oscar...except that it didn't work out quite that way. Just like with the original musical, in the movie version it was the co-star who got the rave reviews, and, eventually, the Oscar to boot. (Jennifer Holliday won a Tony for originating the role, but I'm pretty sure Sheryl Lee Ralph, who had the lead in the musical, didn't win for Best Actress.) Assuming that the rumor is true, basically Bey thinks JHud stole her Oscar, and is majorly pissed off about it.

    (Kind of like Girl, Interrupted, which was supposed to be Winona Ryder's big Oscar-bait movie...except that no one paid any attention to her, because they were all too busy raving about Angelina's performance, which eventually got her a Best Supporting Actress Oscar. Between this and Fishstick stealing the Shakespeare in Love script, poor Winona's not doing so well with Oscar-chasing...)

    Her "instrument" could also be her body/singing apparatus & not just an actual instrument. The way the blind sounds, could possibly refer to masterbation, an instrument or her singing apparatus/pipes, voice box, breathing, etc. Bey, Keys, gaga & Rhianna came to mind for me.

    It's Keys. This story is a bit older and made the rounds on the regular movie-orientated sites. I'm trying to remember the exact film... but yeah she was up for a lead role, but completely bombed this audition. None of her movie roles so far have had any drama in them just basic extended cameo stuff. This audition she had to yell and cry and apparently her attempts are laughably awful.
