Blind Item #10

This foreign born B+ list mostly movie actress is loved by guys she sleeps with marries and works with. Women? Not so much. Our actress has very few female friends and the only one who even comes close gets paid by our actress as an employee. She likes doing her franchise because there are so few women in it.

  3. Mila was in Two Moon Junction as a youngin. Remember that soft porn like flick with Sherilyn Fenn? I used to watch that movie all the time. Haha.
Anyway, don't know what made me think of that.

  6. I don't see anything wrong with a woman having all male friends.

  8. That first sentence could use a comma or two. Married more than once and serial cheater?

  9. @Jon- nothing wrong with it. Usually speaks to the idea that the woman in question is always in constant competition with other women & distrusts them due to their own indiscretions. Also, those all male friends offer valedation as most of them harbor crushes for said girl. She keeps them close to boost her ego which needs constant affirmation.

Not like I'm an expert, but I'm one of those chicks.

  10. I dunno, but I worked with only dudes for a very long time and it was truly awesome in a lot of ways. But I always missed the ladies

  11. ScarJo would have fit perfectly if it weren't for a couple of things(foreign born etc). She always flirts with all males in the room and snubs the women...

  17. Jovovich. Look up her marriage history(producers, etc), and pap photos (not very many that aren't solo).

  18. @msgirl Same. I used to "only be friends with guys" and have this ludicrous distrust of other women. I'm older now, but I still constantly have to call myself on it. (If you google "I Was a Teenage Sexist," I've actually written lengthily on the phenomenon.)

  22. I remember reading that Claire Danes was so excited to be working with Kate B. on Brokedown Palace or what ever that was called, but Kate was really distant and didn't want anything to do with her.

  23. @Jenn great writing. I've always been a prissy girl. Was a Regina in high school, got to college in sorority and realized I'm no one special. Thank God for it because I still have old friends that never learned. But, I deal with grown girl probs all the damn time.

  25. There's no 'off topic' here and I simply *must* share. Allow me to introduce you to a whole new level of Real Housewives broke-ass bottom scraping. Meet the Real Housewives of Melbourne ... gack!

  26. To be contrary to the women with only male friends.,. Personally I don't trust a woman who can't relate ( and have close relationships) with other women. I've found them to be insecure and wanting for male attention. Sorry.... Try friendships with women and trusting them. They usually will have your back but you have to earn trust.

    1. I was mainly raised by my father, who was the stay at home parent because my mom couldn't stand him, so she worked 24/7. I grew up an only child in the middle of nowhere, and my "makeup and hair" lessons consisted of reading the fashion magazines she gave me.

Call me weird, but under those circumstances, relating to women is very hard. My father was also a realtor off and on, so he took me with him to show houses, and he mainly dealt with the husband/boyfriend of the couple he was pitching a house to. So, my ability to relate to women is very low.

And no, I didn't wear a flannel shirt, or go to Wellsely. I do wear Doc Martens, though.

  28. I was always the leader of a large group of girls, from elementary on, until about 10 yrs ago. I think all of the years of being the stable core that solved problems and did all of the grunt work for the friendships wore me down, completely. Now, I just don't have the energy for many close female friendships and prefer to keep them a little hands off. I think women friends are essential for young women, for sure.

  29. Who cares? I've got female friends who can't deal with the constant drama and mood shifts of their sisterhood. Big. Hairy. Deal.

  30. I've always had a hard time relating to other women. I just felt like I was missing some inside joke. Plus, can't stand the squealy, catty stuff that many women (def not all) get into. Always had more guy friends and love it. They're usually so much easier to be around with less drama. It wasn't until I had a kid that I finally felt some commonality with other women, and now enjoy those friendships much more than I ever have. I still prefer working for men, hands down.
