Today's Blind Items - He Married A Casting Couch Professional
Our actor has been around forever. he has been in tons of shows and some movies too. He has waited and waited for his big break and he finally got it. He also got a wife to go with that big break. His wife is an actress. She has been in a string of highly forgettable movies and each of those movies she secured via the casting couch. None of you have heard of her even though she has been in almost twenty movies. She is also a favorite of directors and producers as last minute arm candy for a red carpet and they know they will get lucky at the end of the night. When our actor finally got cast for his big break he happened to go to a party that night and was telling everyone his good fortune. Our actress was there and heard his story and the next thing you know there was a whirlwind romance and within two weeks they got married. She has even managed to land a recurring role in his big break. Funny how that happened. Her biggest role. Our actor has no idea about the reputation of the actress except there were some unexplained late night visits from people to her apartment while they were dating. She has since got a new phone number and moved in with our actor. Neither of these people have been in a blind before.
Sounds like true love. What 40 or so guy married someone in their 20s weeks after he got his own Tv show?
ReplyDeleteGood
DeleteAndy Samberg and Joanna Newsome
ReplyDeleteNever been in a blind before! Well nothing wrong with wanting to be in a secure relationship. He sounds boring tho
ReplyDeleteSandy!
ReplyDeleteWell if she's his wife it would make sense that she moved in with him.
ReplyDelete2 weeks of dating? Who all of a sudden showed up married?
Kevin Smith wouldn't work, but that was kind of out of the blue.
ReplyDeleteKev and his wife actually adore each other. They used to do a podcast together and they're very sweet.
DeleteBut Joanna Newsome is singer not an actress.

ReplyDeleteAndy's wife is a singer songwritter & they were together for years before finally making it official.
ReplyDeleteHey Sugar!
ReplyDeleteI retracted that guess. I have nobody I thought Brooklyn 99 fit.
ReplyDeleteNice one!
ReplyDeleteIsn't Andy Samberg G-A-Y? Well, like that stopped Travolta among many others. LOL
ReplyDeleteHer past doesn't sound any worse than any other persons past in Hwood. Or anywhere actually. Did he think he was marrying a virgin?
ReplyDeleteSo someone who's been around forever, but not super famous, just got their own TV show (I'm guessing started this season, or maybe starting next season) and got married right after getting cast in said TV show out of the blue, to someone we would not know, but who has a recurring role on the aformentioned TV show.
ReplyDeleteSeems like it should be easy...
The never-been-in-a-blind thing is throwing me
ReplyDeleteEw....fresh blood! And Goop & Chris' bodies are not even cold yet.
ReplyDeleteYou know...Seth Green might work for this.
ReplyDeleteI hope not though, I love my Oz.
cash warren?
ReplyDeleteHasn't Seth Green been married for quite a few years?
ReplyDeleteHoly crap, I think Bacon Ranch got it and it gives me the sads. I <3 Oz, too.
ReplyDeleteInside Story: How Seth Green and His Wife Fell in Love
Elsa Pataky? and Thor? She dated a few actors, a french one ( Michaël Youn) then she went with the one who did The Piano (can't remember his name).
ReplyDeleteDunno the blind says weeks the story says months but they met years ago.

ReplyDeleteThis is supposed to be recent?
ReplyDeleteScott Bakula?
ReplyDeleteIdk, the Hemsworth's have been together for over three years, and the Greens for over four. This seems recent. Plus, Seth was already big from the Austin Powers movies, and Chris had already begun filming Thor before meeting Elsa, so it's not like either of them had just gotten a big break when they met the Mrs.
ReplyDeletePlus the Hemsworth bros are movies & this guy sounds like he is mostly TV including his big break. One of the geeks from Beauty and the Geeks (aka Big Bang Theory)?
ReplyDeleteSo, the guy:
ReplyDelete- is on TV (the wife got a recurring role)
- is the star of the show (after getting supporting parts in shows and movies)
- married her just after being cast in the show (so before he became famous, which is why there was no report of his marriage two weeks after being cast)
I was thinking Stephen Amell (Arrow) and Cassandra Jean but she has never appeared in his show. But it must be a recent show.
The tone of this blind is really 1950's. Is sexual experience really going to make a prospective bride damaged goods? Only if your Tim Tebow.
ReplyDeleteHere's what I'm reading - "Unmarried actress has a healthy and varied sex life, meets Mr Right & they get married."
I don't know the timeline for these relationships, but some couples who worked on break out together:
ReplyDeleteMichael Emerson/Carrie Preston/Lost
Dave and Odette Annabelle/ Bros and Sisters
Seth Rogen and Miller/Superbad
Mortimer and Nivok
Robot Chicken would have been the 'big break'. He said he took her with him on a 2 week tour to promote the new show right after they met. He has done tv (obviously) and movies.
ReplyDeleteProposed a few months later.
I really hope it's not him, though.
What is the Aaron Paul timeline?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a journeyman actor that now is on a successful tv show or movie franchise. He just got married and his wife is minor actress that now is on the same tv show or movie franchise. Too lazy to figure it out but if you google your guesses and the answer will pop out at you.
ReplyDeleteI thought Elsa toom girl does have a rep. But, both Hemsworths are movie.
ReplyDeleteNever been in a blind before! Well nothing wrong with wanting to be in a secure relationship. He sounds boring tho
ReplyDeleteJohnny Galecki and Kelli Garner.
ReplyDeleteI remember hearing something similar about Keenan Thompson's wife.
ReplyDeleteJason Biggs and his wife jenny
ReplyDeleteJason Biggs and his wife jenny
ReplyDeleteJason Biggs isn't mostly TV though is he?
ReplyDeleteWhat @Angela said
ReplyDeleteDid a little googling n the dude from castle (the white guy who isn't castle) he's been around for a while and his wife is on the show and her imdb has a few sharknado-esque titles in it. Not sure how long they've been together or how long they were dating first though
ReplyDeleteOnly because the blind doesn't say he's the main star just a big break
DeleteI love Kelli Garner. Would she really be described as "none of you have ever heard of her"? "Man of the House" runs on cable every few hours it seems.
ReplyDeleteReally reaching to make it Oz. In what world could Robot Chicken be considered a "big break?"
ReplyDeleteBesides, I've heard of Claire. Enty promised I've never heard of the actress.
I would also turn a skeptical eye on Robot Chicken being a big break, but mostly because I love Seth Green.
ReplyDeleteSounds like she is ready to put her past behind her. So what? If they cherish one another, I wish them the best!!
ReplyDelete"Roseanne" was Johnny Galecki's big break
ReplyDeleteNot Seth Green, his big break would be Buffy in the late 90's early 2000's
ReplyDeleteSeth Green's 1st big break was playing Woody Allen as a child in Radio Days.
ReplyDeleteElsa Pataky was my only guess.
ReplyDeleteIs Joe Lo Truglio relevant? I don't watch Brooklyn 99, but he did get married last year, and his wife has been on the show. He's been in tons of shows and movies, but is Brooklyn 99 a big break for him? Her name is Beth Dover, and she has 40ish credits on imdb.
ReplyDeleteJoe Lo Truglio guess is interesting- at least it seems plausible although, according to IMDb she has not been in close to 20 movies and most of her work has been tv. That being said could be him or someone like him.
DeleteJames Spader in 'The Blacklist'?
ReplyDeleteSpader has been a star for years.

DeleteSeth's big break was Can't Hardly Wait.
ReplyDeleteWas going to suggest Charlie Hunnam, but he's divorced.
ReplyDeleteStumped on this one. I hope it gets revealed.
What about Charlie Day and Mary Elizabeth Ellis (the waitress) idk how long they have been married or anything though, just a guess. I hope not though!
ReplyDeleteguys! I think Im on to something here!! What about Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad (hence "big break), he has been around for forever, loved him in Malcolm in the Middle,
ReplyDeleteI had no idea who his wife was but looked him up on IMDB and saw that his wife named Robin Dearden, was cast in Breaking Bad as "emotional woman" - I believe they have been married for a while though....
my first internet sleuthing detective work.
*pats self on back and takes a nap*
I'm totally buying that Joe Lo Triglio guess. Wow, if you're right, great job!
