Off Topic

I found a leftover Christmas gift basket in the office yesterday. Processed cheese and meats last a long time.

  1. I must say Hickory Farms baskets are terrific gifts! That and Wine and country gift baskets. You can't go wrong with those things, especially if the person you are buying for likes to snack (and/or wine).

  4. Man, I love tearing into gift baskets.
All the !little snausages and cheese bits with their board and scimitar
Or if your friend upgraded, the cheese shaver( perfect for grilled cheeses)
I hate the ones where you have to cook the product :-(
Please, Do Not send me a basket that pics Mickey pancakes and gives me expensive bisquick and a Tin Mickmouse mold...
It makes me feel sad, and guilty, cause I will never use it.

  5. Gift baskets are the best, even if you get the odd vegetarian cheeseball.

  6. I was so disappointed the year i got a gift basket. The food was awful, and apparently is made to last a nuclear winter. Untasty.

  7. I love those things. Cheese and snausages...good stuff! And if there's tea or chocolates or something, even better.

  8. YES, nuclear winter food!

I bought a package of soppressata a few weeks ago and couldn't believe the taste difference from regular store-bought salami. I will, however, confess to having used Cheez Whiz on a superbowl party dish. It was the only way I could spell out "your team's gonna lose" with precision on the dip.

  9. We're still on the See's candy from Christmas in my office. Chocolate never goes bad.
