Me Violet loves this show. He does not know what happened and I'm debating whether to drop it into conversation and whether my marriage would survive the fallout.
Off Topic: Enty is on Dailymail: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2588017/Was-Lwren-Scotts-death-foreshadowed-blind-item-revealed-knew-problems-helped.html
@trouble bubble I was just coming here to post the same thing. The article's hyperlink goes to the CDAN reveal, and there are a lot of nasty comments in that particular thread. Not our best work
Thanks for the link Kristin. Those DM pics have quite the body language. Sounds like Mick had provided financing in the past. Not impressed with her style. Reeks of Roy, poor girl.
I watched that show last night! I never watch it. I think that was the second episode I ever saw.
I thought it was unrealistic. Why is a guy on trial for murder not wearing a stun belt? How did he get the gun? And really? The DDA was trying to help the defense attorney after he got shot? Not buying it.
I don't watch the Good Wife, so no idea what the drama is about there, but since there is already an off-topic post, I'm going to take this opportunity to go a little off topic and ask the TV-related question that I have...
Enty.. Please could you reveal the blind that reveals why Ziva left NCIS? It's almost been a full season now, and I'm still not over her departure. I feel like I need some perspective. Pretty please?!
I love the show and was completely shocked they killed off the character. Since Josh Charles is a newlywed, though, I find it hard to believe he & Margulies were having a thing. Maybe, though...I'll miss him on the show.
Re: Cote de Pablo question above, here is what Roger Friedman said: http://www.showbiz411.com/2013/07/17/ncis-star-wanted-pay-parity-with-other-actors-may-have-talked-herself-off-show Basically, it was money, but who knows?
Props to Josh fo realizing he'd rather have time with his new wife and get a family going rather than chase the money with the series. 18 hour days are not very conducive to a strong marriage.
RE: Good Wife, crazy turn there. Wasn't expecting such a bold move from them. Not sure how I feel about TV shows now jumping the gun with depictions of mass shootings (ie SOA, Rizzoli & Isles...)
RE: Enty's article in the DM. I took a few days off here the last time all the suicide drama came up, but I think I'll finally throw in my two cents. I don't agree with some things posted on CDaN, but to insinuate that Enty could have or should have done something is just bizarre for so many reasons. He's a gossip blogger with presumably no connection whatsoever to L'Wren. What exactly did they expect him to do? I'm sure L'Wren would have loved it if a total stranger spearheaded an intervention and it by no doubt would have been effective.
I lost two people very close to me to suicide over the past couple years. The first friend was actually a celebrity. The signs he would eventually kill himself were all there, as they will always be, in retrospect. The worst part was that we should have known, but he had us all fooled. But even if he had sought help instead, that doesn't necessarily mean he would still be alive.
The second was a close friend from grad school who died last year. She was wrapping up her PhD and had a mental breakdown as she was entering the job market. Her boyfriend couldn't handle her anymore. I took her in and tried to care for her. A few days later, she almost OD'd but I managed to get her to the hospital, where she eventually hung herself a couple weeks later anyways. While on suicide watch. We did everything we could and she is still dead. When people want out, they sadly will find a way. Her decision to end her life has pretty much ruined mine ever since. Even if Enty could have miraculously gotten L'Wren help instead of posting about her, L'Wren is responsible for HER own decisions. The problem at hand was that she was a very troubled woman and her tragic decision was tainted by her circumstances, and likely by mental illness as well. It is inherently fucked up to blame anyone for someone else's suicide. Rest in peace, L'Wren.
I read this on BG today and thought of Josh Charles. I don't watch The Good Wife, but everyone's talking about it today. Maybe Chris Noth couldn't handle his popularity?
Is this code for something weird?
ReplyDeleteis nonexistent
ReplyDeleteA character got killed off. What else could we talk about?
ReplyDeleteJosh made a big mistake leaving the show.
ReplyDeleteI just can't get into the evening soap opera stuff...
ReplyDeleteDon't get it. The show that is and why it's so popular. I tried to watch the first season but after 10 episodes I gave up.
ReplyDelete@Rose, I'm impressed you made it to 10...:-)
DeleteMaybe Juliana is cheating with Josh and that's why he left? Remember that blind about the B lister with two successful series under her belt?
ReplyDeleteMe Violet loves this show. He does not know what happened and I'm debating whether to drop it into conversation and whether my marriage would survive the fallout.
ReplyDeleteI just started this series a month or so ago and almost all caught up. I love it!
ReplyDeleteOh and hi, long time lurker first time commenting. Here's the blind:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.crazydaysandnights.net/2014/03/blind-item-8_19.html?m=1
FearN, that's what I want to know, too! What is the real reason he left?
ReplyDeleteThe chemistry between Will and Alicia was what kept me watching the show. I guess I have some more free time on Sunday nights now!
ReplyDelete@FearN
ReplyDeleteSee him with his wife and dog all the time…I would be crushed if he cheated they look so happy.

Robert and Michelle King sure have some balls to do that last night. The folks over at Entertainment Weekly are freaking out.

ReplyDeleteIs this a Real Housewife? I don't think any of them are Good, but what do I know?
ReplyDeleteI'll get u hip to the housewives, Seven.
DeleteWe can watch together while u get drunk off of mimosas & I'll have a gin & tonic.
Hold the tonic, plz.
Someone said gin, I'm in!!
DeleteHi there @FearN!
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
ReplyDeleteok haters-it has been a consistently good show.....Will's death was a real shock...
I'll take it over stupid reality tv and housewives any day
I don't consider it an evening soap opera at all
ReplyDeleteBEST SHOW ON TV. Awesome episode last night. Will miss Josh/Will, but what story possibilities!
ReplyDeleteI am not happy.
