Not for me. I don't like drinking as much as I use to. I have an unopened large bottle of vodka that hasn't been touched since I received it for Christmas. That is definitely a first for me.
Yup. I feel buzzed now even. I did share one of the best pitchers of sangria ever with friends It was peach sangria and peach colored. Never had that before...Sunday was sunny fantastic blur of beach and sangrias. :)
Yes, part my excuse for my typos and nonsensicals this morn...now I'm gearing up for a three week craft beer extravaganza & I don't really drink beer. Sigh, self imposed drunkard & baby beer belly in the making.
I realised last night how incredibly lame I am; one glass of wine had me all tipsy and switching to water and wanting to sing showtunes, for shame. All that training in my twenties and thirties for NOTHING!
On Saturday we were still drinking pineapple juice on ice ... it was a lovely, hot, last day of Summer.
But then on on Sunday we had to grab two extra doonas out of the cupboard, it suddenly got so cold. I think it's going to be a very chilly Autumn here :-(
Stepforded - I was in AKL the past fortnight and the weather really was living up to Crowded House's standards - was 34ยบ and sunny, then freezing, then sunny but cold, then humid as hell. All in one day, of course ;)
Not too long ago I would've reveled in a post like this- celebrating the experience of binge drinking. I still can remember feeling the same as most of the above comments, but now, at almost a year on the wagon I have a visceral reaction to the very idea of over-drinking. It trips me out to read the above and relate, but feel so grossed out at the idea of actually doing that now.
Ha! I just realized it was in the CDAN comment threads about what vitamins/supplements you take that I heard of the wonders of Milk Thistle extract...
Eh? Does this mean my liver and I owe Enty (and CDAN) for my newfound health? I will have to think on that for a bit. But loves to all you just the same.
I never comment. De-lurked for awhile as Deelurker but hang back mostly cause I'm in a bad time zone commenting wise. So many changes in the CDAN community...Count-so glad you stuck it out through the "hazing" at the start- You've also introduced me to something that has bettered my life...more on that some other day. ;)
