No Filming For Teresa Guidice While Under House Arrest
If Teresa Giudice thought that her plea deal which will include no jail time would also include an allowance for filming she is out of luck. Prosecutors won't allow any filming as part of the plea deal and if she tries to film herself or allows cameras into her home during house arrest they will have her put in jail to serve the remainder of her sentence. What this does to Teresa is effectively end her time on Real Housewives at the conclusion of the upcoming season. She won't be allowed to film the reunion show and at least two, possible three seasons will be shot while she is under house arrest which means that if the show even continues that long she won't be a part of it. Without any money coming in from the show it will be interesting to see how she manages to live. I hope she has been saving but you know she hasn't. She is going to have to sell almost everything and move into a smaller place and cut back on the spending. Two years is a long time to be out of the public eye for someone who is barely hanging on to her 15 minutes anyway so if you are a fan of Teresa you should enjoy her now.
Wow. So that is actually a fairly good punishment for someone that focused on fame; no jail time but two years to stew over it. Kinda brutal but creative. I like it!
ReplyDeleteGreat. Finally someone is dumping the trash.
ReplyDeleteNBC should have fired her so this is an acceptable substitution. She's a criminal.
ReplyDeleteShe's gone and will end up like Gotti's daughter and grandsons---forgotten.
ReplyDeleteAwww I loved those hot obnoxious boys! I couldn't understand shit they said besides Maaaa! And Hair Gel!!!! But they were a hot mess
DeleteI loved growing up Gotti.
DeleteCan you imagine if they'd done this to Lilo???
ReplyDeleteDon't give me hope.....
DeleteThank God, I didn't want to watch 2 years of Teresa & the hell spawn stuck in the house.
ReplyDeleteNo Milania for two yrs?!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm gna have a panic attack!
Oh, the horror!
Happy happy morning everyone, and it's another happy day (at -30)!!
ReplyDelete@Meanie Rhysie
I LIKE that idea.
I think the sentence fits. Good on the judge.
ReplyDeleteReally disappointed we won't get to see Milania ruin her other sisters' childhoods. Nugs & Pugs, Milania. Nugs & Pugs.
ReplyDeleteMorning TTM, cold there this morning?
ReplyDeleteMorning, Leeky! No, we're having a heat wave! Up to -17! How about there? Where is there, btw?
ReplyDeleteShe'll be fine you guys. I'm writing a script for her! I can't decide what I should call it. It's between Not Without My Forehead or Lost: The Search For Teresa's Forehead.
ReplyDeleteNot without my forehead gets my vote! Lolol
DeleteEvery time their picture is shown, I hear Adam Brody from Mr and Mrs Smith: "Who ARE you people?!"
ReplyDeleteThese shows are just a joke...none of these people are every as rich as they claim & all are in shady businesses or slum lords if not down right criminals
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for her a little in that I think the hws franchise was her only monetary means of income. Joes business wasn't doing so well last time I heard. Plus they got all those adirable little girls.. who knows though maybe this will be for the best. She could maybe open a new business. Ive always liked teresa even in her most annoying moments. Shes very entertaining. I would think her lawyer could fight this rule but one never knows. Rhonj can't go on without her. She makes that show. But they need to get rid of the sister in law....shes annoying with no redeeming qualities. . They do nothing but bicker which is why I stopped watching.
ReplyDeleteWhat other means of income are there other than monetary? Is she trading in gold, land, stocks, or perhaps favours?
DeleteI'd like to know her other means of income.
She writes cookbooks. She's always doing book signings.
DeleteI hate that I know that.
I've never watched the show. Is milania the proverbial brat or what?
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone really think they aren't going to offer her her own show the moment that sentence is over? It'll be about how she's trying to put her life back together, getting a job, living in a condo (gasp!), raising all those kids, blah blah blah.
ReplyDeleteNooooooo! I know everyone hates her, but we love to hate her! I need to see how she spins this in her everyday life! I need to see all of the stupid skank women that will show up at her door explaining that they in fact are Joe's soulmate and have sent him money in jail...and maybe with a love child in tow! I have to see how she writes a books and faces the public. This can't be happening, it just can't! I'm too invested.
ReplyDelete" anyway so if you are a fan of Teresa you should enjoy her now."
ReplyDeleteWas I supposed to laugh as hard as I did at this sentence?
@TTM Northern Ontario!
ReplyDeleteShe'll probably get a book deal out of it. They seem to hand them out to Housewives a lot.
ReplyDeleteI think she'll be fine. Her cookbooks, hair products, and now food line (sauce), and alcohol drinks all do well, probably something like Martha Stewart whose businesses still did well when she was in jail. Her housewife money is high (under Nene) because she is a popular housewife so she'll lose that I think.
ReplyDeleteAs for Milania, she is funny and gives her sisters hell!
If she gets off with house arrest and not prison, I think this is fair.
ReplyDeleteJoe's family is connected, Tree isn't going to be broke as long as they are around. She might have to downsize but if she can stay out of prison and take care of her kids, the best place for all of them is off TV. She'd be damn lucky to come out of this with that.
Last night Jeff Lewis tried to bring this up on Watch What Happened Live and Andy wouldn't discuss anything about Theresa's situation.
@ car54 very interesting info.
DeleteI bet Andy is trying to see if they (Teresa with high paid bravo attorney) have any legalistic loophole or alternative to get out of eliminating her from the show.
I don't think her daughters could be bound to her and Joe's filiming limits. she will figure out how to circumvent the order so her girls are still taped and paid...with the money eventually going back to mom and dad.
ReplyDeleteIn her last desperate attempt to ruin her sister in law, she will move in with them, while she tries to sell the house. Then Melissa can't be filmed at home b/c Teresa will be there. And poor Melissa will have to fade into obscurity too.
ReplyDeleteThe End ..Yay Looziana! I like it.
ReplyDeleteThank ya ma'am :)
DeleteI don't know who these people are and don't watch their crap show. I usually don't even comment on the items about them, but I simply HAD to pipe in this time. That woman looks like a man in drag. Seriously. That's all I've got to say.
ReplyDeleteFor various reasons it appears that this item was written by someone who is not an attorney. (A non-Ent-ity?)
ReplyDeleteI think in most states impersonating an attorney is felony fraud. **cough, cough**
Only seen a couple of scenes from the show, but isn't she the big draw? Well anyway, I think it is rather draconian for prosecutors to demand she not work. Maybe she'll be fine, or maybe she really needs the money, but to have her on house arrest, and then limit the way she can make money to live on is rather cruel on the courts and would make her kids have to suffer more than they probably are already. Ridiculous. I bet she probably has lawyers working on getting that changed, and I hope she does. I would watch that show.
