NJ Teen Who Sued Her Parents Moves Back Home
Rachel Canning is back home with her parents. Well, not right now because right now she is probably sitting inside a classroom in that very expensive private school that her parents pay for while she counts down the remaining days until graduation. Rachel was forced to move back home to the home of the parents she was suing just a few weeks ago. Rachel lost in her bid to have her parents pay for support to her while she lived with a friend plus payments to her school for tuition and the judge in the case called her spoiled. With no way to live she had to go home. She will probably bide her time and in a few months when she goes away to college she can do what she wants. I don't know why she didn't do that at first. Just suck it up and wait a few months. The Cannings have other kids and I wonder if this little situation is forcing them to change what they do for the rest of their kids.
That's not gonna be awkward at all!
ReplyDeleteSure it will change things. They will have to buy new keys once they change the locks after her self entitled ass moves out.
ReplyDeleteNo. Not at all.
ReplyDeleteSo, like every other American HS Senior EVER in the history of the world.
ReplyDeleteI bet it's like nothing ever happened too. Some people and their drama.
ReplyDeleteRight, Lotta??
DeleteLook at that face! My kids look at me like that when they are in one of those hating my mother phases. They've not taken me to court yet though.
ReplyDeleteErika Christinsen can play her in the Lifetime movie!
ReplyDeleteI definitley think she looks like Erika Christiansen, but how Erika looked 10 years ago. I don't think she could play her now.
DeleteI thought the same thing!
DeleteUnlike every high school senior in America, this one managed to run up big legal fees for her parents AND suggest that her father behaved inappropriately w/her.
ReplyDeleteThe thing is she probably would have gone back home sooner & not sued if the boyfriends dad wasn't a lawyer
ReplyDeleteWhat ever happened with the whole fake Jonas baby situation?
ReplyDeleteI love how blind gossip and ENTY have just ignored it since the baby was born...
ReplyDeleteThis little bitch also went on a Facebook rant about baby boomers being selfish and buying things they don't need when they should be spending their money on the kids! Ummmm, this is their money not hers and it appears they have spent quite a bit on her. She will prob end up a porn star.
ReplyDeleteGive her time
DeleteLOL!!! Cause she's broke.
ReplyDeleteWhat a smug little poo.
ReplyDeleteI really hope that one day, when she is all grown up, she looks back on what she did to her parents and is horribly embarrassed and apologetic. I also hope she gives birth to a banshee.
ReplyDeleteI hope she gives birth to a banshee - I busted out laughing at that! Of course everyone in the dr's waiting room is staring at me now... Oops!
DeleteIts easiter to find a sugar daddy where her parents live than in college so shes smart like that.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a bitch, acts like a bitch... Yup, that girl is a bonafied bitch.
ReplyDeleteI think her best friend's lawyer Dad who bankrolled this fiasco needs to be investigated. His interest in this girl is suspect.
ReplyDelete--I really hope that one day, when she is all grown up, she looks back on what she did to her parents and is horribly embarrassed and apologetic--
ReplyDeletethis
Cute and bitchy and maybe a screw loose. Where do I sign up?
ReplyDeleteSpoiled brat. With bitchface. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteOK, this just occurred to me. I realize how cynical it sounds, but I wonder if this was all a ploy to get a reality show of some kind. A desperate attempt to get "famous."
ReplyDeleteGod, this story is the worst.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, the family can get counseling and work past this fiasco.
I can not believe this went to trial.
The girl sounds vile, but hopefully she is learning from the mistake made.
Maybe she should go volunteer at a public school in Camden as penance. She can see all of the blessings that she has unlike so many others.
Is she going to college?
spoiled entitled brat.......a role model for her generation
ReplyDeletewhich?
perhaps both.....it seems that today's 20 somethings really do feel entitled to their parents lifestyle instead of creating their own.....but then again we have allowed it to happen
What an entitled little shit. Chances are she won't regret or learn a thing, that sort of thing usually only happens in bad Hollywood movies. More likely she'll get a good job until she gets married to a rich, equally soulless guy. Then she pops out a couple of brats who grow up to be sociopaths 'cause mommy and the revolving door of nannies just couldn't be bothered. And here we go again...
ReplyDeleteI still think this girl has some mental and/or drug issues. She could easily be bi-polar and just off her meds.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure part of the deal to come home is therapy and meds.
ReplyDeleteI bet the Duke Whore story breaking at the same time scared the parents. Facial Abuse shoots near them in North Jersey. They didn't want her getting college money the hard way.
It's the parent's fault for raising this child to be a mean, self-centered, disrespectful, ungrateful brat.
ReplyDeleteWhy is no one asking who is paying her goddamn legal fees?
ReplyDeleteIf I were her parents, I'd hang the a-hole father of her friend with em. If he tries to sue her for it, just have her declare bankruptcy after the judgement.
ReplyDeleteSure, pay for her schooling until she graduates (which, my parents would have downgraded to public school). Then, you can have your car, all your clothes, hell take all the furniture in your room. But good luck paying for college and supporting yourself, smug entitled little bitch!
ReplyDelete"When she goes away to college"? If I were her parents, I would boot her out the door the day after high school graduation, and tell her to get a damn job and pay for school herself.
ReplyDelete@evie2345: Really? And what do you expect to happen to a cute, book smart/life stupid, 18 y/o girl with mental issues? Likely porn and pole. And once she figures out that cocaine will help her stay skinny, it would be a quick swirl of the bowl.
ReplyDeleteThis will follow her the rest of her life. She will wonder why she has a hard time getting internships, good jobs, and into good graduate schools. The competition is so great that those in admissions/hiring aren't going to be kindly disposed towards a whining, miserable, crude, rude, vulgar brat who sues her parents when she can't get along with them and demands everything goes her way. She'll be dealing with the fallout from this forever.
ReplyDeleteScumbag attorney who bankrolled the girl's lawsuit against her parents is in some hot water. Parsippany town council passed an ordinance banning him and his firm from township contracts for pay to play "campaign donations" and filed ethics violations.

As I said before, that lawyer should be disbarred. He was the one pushing the BS lawsuit in the first place, when he should have been encouraging her to move back in with her parents. Hopefully this'll be the last we hear of this.
ReplyDeleteParents will be LUCKY when she moves out. This beyotch will probably not go away. She'll move on from the lawyer sugar-daddy to someone else and try to stretch her 15 minutes. Knowing how things go in this country lately, she will succeed. Maybe she should move in with Uncle Terry! Of course, he would be second choice after Charlie Sheen.
ReplyDeleteGuess when she moved in with her BFF, her BFF's father wasn't the sugar daddy she was hoping he'd be. Did he get sick of paying for her trips to the mall, her cell phone, and her food?
ReplyDeletePlease. The parents will get over it with their kid - they'll probably have a good relationship within a year. But they'll hate that lawyer with a vengeance until the day they die. And rightly!
ReplyDelete"I also hope she gives birth to a banshee." I too busted out in a laughing snort. The rest of the cubical hell employees are looking at me like I'm going spew pea soup any minute. Thanks for the Friday morning chuckles...
ReplyDeleteIf they got other kids, I think they can write this one off. I definitely would emancipate her after graduation and not be responsible for her college fund. Unfortunately, parents are on the hook until 25 when the kiddies are in college.
