The second thing that some of the people in the situation say is that Marc and Elizabeth are separated which happened after Elizabeth got out of rehab. So, the fact that Marc was caught with Ruth after that means it is ok. One big problem with that. Marc and Elizabeth are still living together and are not officially separated. They also have two kids who are 7 and 10 so they can probably read the internet and Google their parents. Marc's friends are trying to say he is a great guy who stood by his alcoholic wife way longer than most people would. Marc, who is known for his one hit song, Walking In Memphis had his own share of issues when he was shot in the head but managed to live. When he was in the hospital, Elizabeth wasn't cheating on him.

I read this on Page Six and allegedly, Vargas and Cohen are separated, but Vargas did not know they were separated and they are living in the same place. Basically, he's been cheating on her. Nothing new here.

ReplyDeleteRe the sitch, it sounds as if his cheating was a planned event, not a tears-in-the-beer my wife is sick and consolation turned to other things. He stuck with her through alcoholism, but it sounds as if she stuck with him through a brain injury, too. I wish people would consider the truly innocent parties: the kids. That's still a righteous song, though.

Ive never seen a couple separating straight away after rehab as the counceling teaches the partners to build a healthy friendly relationship in order to create some stability for the recovering. hope she does not go back on whatever she was taking

ReplyDeleteAlcoholism isn't untreated schizophrenia, and Vargas wasn't a falling down drunk she is the main bread winner in that family for decades and a very nice life he lived, with all the work stresses that involves life in her position. So nailing him up as some kind of martyr doesn't really fly, as she's doing quite well and, and with a good attorney and nanny - doesn't need a cheating hack at all. He can live off a spin teacher and live out his do gooderness with... Ruth. What a scum bag. Certainly he's a horrible father and it seems a real saboteur of his wife's recovery. Elizabeth better dump a man that toxic or she won't make it sober. Boot him and get a shark attorney to gut him.
