After more than two months in rehab Kesha Rose as she is calling herself now has left rehab and returned to Los Angeles. Kesha spent the past few months in a Chicago area rehab center for what she said was an eating disorder. That is the same thing Demi Lovato said and has spent the past few years slowly telling people it was for everything in the world and probably an eating disorder too. Hopefully Kesha will be honest with her fans about why she was in the facility for so long. Shortly after Kesha entered rehab her mom checked into the same place and it has been a little while since we heard from her mom who probably checked in to stay close to her meal ticket. I'm not sure why mom couldn't find a different facility to go to if she had issues that needed to be dealt with. The last thing someone needs when dealing with their own issues is to have their mom right there next to them the entire time. I don't think that is a great way to get healthy. I'm glad Kesha did this the right way and stayed in so long and hopefully she is doing great now.

Its really no ones business why she went to rehab except her's her family and possibly a physician. She has no obligation to say anything to anyone.

Good for her, and good for her mom, too. I don't know why Enty is assuming she and her mom were with each other the whole time -- as far as I remember reading, they were in for entirely different things (from what we know), and with Timberline Knolls being what it is, I can't imagine they have all of their patients lumped together or even near each other..

Why was Kesha in rehab for so long? Well, in fact, it wasn't all that long. Most celebs dip their toe in rehab for a week or so and then proclaim themselves cured, when in reality a basic rehab is usually 90 days (hell, just watch "Intervention". As for her mom joining her, a lot of programs encourage family to go through some therapeutic process, either for being enablers or to help the patient in rehab have some support. And taking the "$" out of her name and adding "Rose"? It sounds healthy.

ReplyDeleteThere is no way they had Kesha and her mom in the same lodge. There are 3 for adults and 1 for adolescents. They discourage communication between people from other lodges and you rarely see them anyway. I know, I've been there. It's a fantastic place. Saved my life.
