    1. Sandy, you're going out already?? I've had enough episodes of Cell Block: 6. Trying to figure out how to watch True Detective online if I don't have HBO.

Lupita won, btw. And Brad and Angie look hot as hell.

    2. Did you figure out the True Detective hook up?

    3. @Just Another Girl Not yet :( ITunes doesn't have it yet, no Netflix, and I'm not buying HBO. Still searching. Sandybrook is leaving me during my time of need.

  4. I adore Lupita Nyong’o. She is pretty much perfect in every way. Normally I don't do the Oscars, but this year, I am so invested in seeing both her and Matthew Mcconaughey win.

  7. Yes I'm headed out. Netflix might have it but im not sure. HBO GO has it but you need to subscribe to HBO to get that. Roku most likely has it and apple.Tv too.

  8. Steampunk, I think it's still on. I'm just following on Twitter. 12 years a slave is winning big though. No word on if Jared Leto is wearing a pony-bun.

  9. Hbo on demand but it costs (I get it with my subscription).

  21. Also, re:watching True Detective
I believe the head of HBO even encouraged people to borrow their friends' HBO Go log-in. Very novel approach, but I think they're hoping you'll either get hooked and order the premium channels or just help to create buzz for the show.

    1. @Sunny - we do that. It's good to have friends.

    2. I let at least 5 different people use mine. Who am I to deny people the right to GOT and TD?

  23. Sunny, another Holder fan on the site! I don't want to start season 3 bc it just brings me closer to the end.

    1. @Kristin- Season 3 is Holdertastic -- he steals the show. You must watch. Linden kind of annoyed me but overall I'm still pumped for season 4.

  24. Oh come on, you guys can't be watching turn-of-the-century Canadian costume mysteries! We don't even watch that! (It's for the brits)

  25. TTM that's all Steampunk! People dressed in period costumes scare me, so I've been watching Hannibal like a good American.

    ReplyDelete
  26. TTM---um hello---Road To Avon-lea is a really good show (not like Andy Cohen good but like better than The New Girl or The Bachelor etc.)

    ReplyDelete
  27. What is the Road to Avonlea? Wait---will I fall asleep to a description of Avonlea?

Derek, are you watching Housewives of NY on the 11th or do you not get it yet?

    ReplyDelete
  28. But Derek, Murdoch Mysteries??

Side note: LOVE Pride & Prejudice with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth so much, miniseries totally okay. Totally not a contradiction. Also Sense & Sensibilities

  29. Could someone please tell Jared Leto that 1995 called? They'd like their clothes back... Not sure about MM's speech, either; it sounded heartfelt (he went on about the importance of independent film, and how hard it can be to pull it off), and maybe I'm just a cynical bitch, but I could swear his presenters' body language was reading "for the love of God, Matt, wrap it up NOW so we can sit back down!" Then again, perhaps they had to get it out of their systems tonight, rather than let rip tomorrow night...

  31. I luv the Killing and True Detective. They don't make good series on regular tv any more. Enjoy watching guys!

  32. I have to say that I am really wanting to check out True Detective, everyone talking about it on here and the fact that it has such a big cast, sounds way cool

  33. To watch the shows you want, go to couchtuner. Ihighly recommend Masters of Sex, it's awesome. And the best HBO series of all, The Wire.
