If they had a double elimination every week in Dancing With The Stars the season would move along a lot more quickly and they could show some other programming in the extra eight weeks. I'm not saying Celebrity Mole would be the best choice, but it would. Kathy Griffin would be up for it. Anderson Cooper is always looking to add an extra fifty hours to his 100 hour work weeks. Corbin Bernsen and Stephen Baldwin? They could use a steady paycheck. See, the one thing that made this celebrity show better than most is that they weren't playing for charity. They were playing for themselves and got more money the longer they stayed. They were actually trying.
Anyway, last night on Dancing With The Stars the expected casualty of the night, Diana Nyad occurred, but the second was a bit of a surprise. I thought that Sean Avery and Karina Smirnoff would last longer. I heard she was a bit ticked off that Sean showed no interest in her at all.
Because he likes boyz.
ReplyDeleteIt's like, I know it's in English, because I understand some of the words...but it still makes no sense. Buncha less people to get photographed taking stuff outta their cars now? And when did Matt Damon become a professional dancer? That's him up there, right? With his mom?
ReplyDeleteI thought it was Matt Damon & Sue Sylvester!
Delete^5 Dena, not just me then!
DeleteSoaree, TTM. Entry doesn't speak Canadian English; which tends to be a bit clearer, even with the superfluous U ie colour. If I ever have extra time, I will attempt to translate for you.
DeleteThanks, Charlie! You're the best!
DeleteNo that's the swimmer Diana Nyad she is 60+ TTM
ReplyDeleteOh! She's the one that did that amazing swim! And knows not re:sunscreen. I'm surprised she (apparently?) got skidded then
ReplyDeleteWhat is celebrity mole? Enquiring minds which have little else to think about on a Tuesday afternoon need to know. It sounds weirdly more interesting than a bunch of US celeb has beens dancing in sparkly outfits (although I assume it's just a different bunch of celeb has-beens).
ReplyDeleteCelebrity Mole was another reality show hosted by Anderson Cooper before he became a serious journalist where one of the players was playing for the show and against the rest of the morons who needed work. And they had to figure out who the rat was.
ReplyDeleteCelebrity Mole was good! The celebrities were more in the B - C list range instead of the usual wash-ups and reality scourge that appears on shows like DWTS.
ReplyDeletesean avery was pissy last week and would not do press after the show. I think we all know now that you get eliminated on dwts when the producers want you to go.. not "the fans". she was a betch. he was shown the door.
ReplyDeleteNo one liked Sean's bad attitude. That's why he's gone.
ReplyDeleteHe has always had a bad attitude. Why would they bring him on in the first place? Redemption doesn't work that way. He did pretty well, but no one anywhere was ever going to vote for him!
DeleteNobody liked him s a hockey player either. He was a punk with a big mouth and basically was blackballed out of the league because no one wanted him on their team anymore.
ReplyDeleteCan we make a drinking game out of how many times Maks kisses Meryl?
ReplyDeleteOh and in case you didn't know, Candace Cameron Bure is a christian.
That Sean dude is CREEPY. I felt bad for the older lady though.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Kitties!! If a hockey player only has a big mouth he'd better have something to make up for it, such as goal-scoring ability.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't realized until now that Diana Nyad swam 110 miles from Cuba to Florida last year! Quelle ballz.
ReplyDeleteAnderson Cooper never hosted Celebrity Mole. He hosted the original, non-celebrity mole, "The Mole." I can't remember the name of the CM host, guy who married Claire Huxtable What's Her Name (Rashad?).
ReplyDeleteAnyway, 1st Celebrity Mole was awesome, very entertaining. Corbin B is paranoid as f***. 2nd CM just didn't recapture the magic.
Don't hate on DWTS, that's my jam! I don't hate on the CW or CBS shows, which usually suck. This is a great show about people learning how to dance. I wish they would add a non celeb every season.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think Diana was the obvious one to go but the old Star Wars guy. He is one of the worst ever on the show.
ReplyDeleteCM host would be one Ahmad Rashad, former football player and sports announcer.
ReplyDeletewonder if ABC will do a shock season and pair men together
ReplyDeleteOneEye, we use the u in Australia too.
ReplyDeleteMore time for Karina to go trolling for a new fiance. Or hourly client.
ReplyDeleteNone of Avery's team mates liked him. He has a tendency to start real drama with other players and then refuse to fight and just run away and hide, leaving the team's enforcers to do it for him.
