Blind Item #6

This former A list entertainer(singer) is now forced to do other work to stay relevant in the celebrity world. He has done everything from reality to hosting. No acting though which is a good thing. His latest project has not been good for his marriage and the distance thing has been an issue. They both have come to realize they are not right for each other and have been working on dividing everything from money to child care.

    2. Probably doesn't help that she still slept with other guys all through the marriage.

  2. Keith Urban to be different?

  3. Um, Nick Lachey was Alist? Sorry, I don't usually contest the ratings but that seems SUPER high. Not that he wasn't pretty and everything

Too bad tho, whoever it is, marriage is tough y'all

"Stay out of it Nick Lacey"

People do know his name, even if they really don't know his music or work...so yeah A or maybe B

    2. I wish The Soup were still regularly using this clip :(

It never failed to make me laugh hysterically!

I clearly recall times in the late 90s early 2000s where LAchey, JEssica and sometimes even Kristin Cavallari (who was dating Nick) were regular fare on the cover of People and the likes. They were it. Nick and Jessica were definitely A list reality at a point.

    1. Okay, Sophie, maybe I've blocked that out. Take what's left of him, indeed

    2. Yeah 2004-2007 definitely A list

    3. Did Jessica ever figure out if it was tuna or chicken she was eating?

  7. I definitely remember Nick being The Man for a brief moment in time. Him and Jessica were the Golden couple. This was around the same time that Paris Hilton was A++ and Nickelback was the biggest band in the world. 2004 was scary y'all!

  8. Nick Lachey did act. He was Phoebe's love interest on Charmed.

    1. And he was on One Tree Hill... He played himself, but that counts right?

@TTM-funny, I always try to catch the Soup...I have friends that write for it

  10. This Kristin Calamari person shows up everywhere!

@Anna Belle, who do you know that writes for Soup? I have a friend who has been there for a long time, way back when Greg Kinnear was host. Small world!

  11. yep I think Nick was A back in the day.....

his acting was pretty bad in Charmed

    1. I will raise that offer to 1000. His brand of sarcasm makes me swoon.

  13. Just to be different Mark McGrath. He was the lead singer for Sugar Ray. He did celebrity wife swap. He hosted for Extra for quite a while. He seems to fit this blind.

  14. Sad if it's those two. With the wee baby and all.

  15. I bet Nick Lachey would be crushed to know that no one remembers his appearance on One Tree Hill.

    1. ethorne, I'm pretty sure that's where The Soup reference comes from! I don't know for sure, I figured I'd be carded for sure if I ever tried to watch it

    2. @TTM-Yes, The Soup clip was from OTH, which he acted on. So, not Nick Lachey.

  16. Nick Lachey actually guest starred on several TV shows so it can't be him. My guess is Nick Cannon. He hosts America's Got Talent and used to appear on a reality show called 'Real Husbands of Hollywood".

    1. Nick Cannon's been in a slew of terrible movies.

  17. Would Nick Cannon be considered a singer? He's more of a rapper.

  18. Awww, sad. Nick's cute, and he and Vanessa make a cute couple. Long distance's hard, y'all. Me and Mr. F had the worst year ever when we were both working jobs that kept us out of town all the time. Incredibly glad we didn't split, but kind of amazed we didn't, looking back.

  19. It's sad - they've been together since 2006. That's almost a decade.

  20. @ ethorne Oh, you're right! That'll teach me not to check IMDB first.

  21. Mark McGrath was also on The Apprentice. He does have a couple acting credits but they're one offs and he usually just plays himself. I'm still thinking this is him.

  22. What about Joel in Nicole? Good Charlotte had a huge following and now judges on The Voice in Australia.

  23. Joel and Nicole?

  24. Joey Fotoine. (too lazy to lookup spelling)

  26. Yes, Nick Lachey was on One Tree Hill ("Stay out of it Nick Lachey!!" - Love it!!) But, he was playing himself so I don't think it qualifies as "acting." He is my guess

  27. I'm guessing Nick and Vanessa. There is a Kneepads story about how he wants two more babies and the whole family is moving to NY - a dead giveaway of there being problems.

Too bad - don't really like him, but somehow I've grown to like Vanessa. I actually miss her on Wipeout, the gal they brought back had some horrible cosmetic surgery and she always dresses weird.
