ReplyDeleteI used to work for the NBA and she was a participant in the celebrity game (a late addition) around the time of Bring it on. I'm guessing it was right before the release and she was doing promo. No one knew who the heck she was although the media and players kept asking about her. We kept having to look at our roster cheat sheets and when we said her name, everyone shrugged and said they never heard of her. She was quite actively chasing the players around back then. I can't remember what year it was but I'm guessing it was 2000-2003 and most likely the DC All-Star weekend.
DeleteThat was my first Allstar weekend and it made quite an impression on me with the "celebrity" and groupie scene. Some of the other celebs (and I use that term loosely) were the guys from Roswell, Ashton and Wilmer, Matthew Lillard, pdiddy and oTown, LL Cool J, etc. I think Nick Cannon first came a year later. Oh the memories! I never miss that job except for those nonstop work and party weekends.

ReplyDeleteWanton is a "commenter" who pops up occasionally to deride regulars here. Frankly, I suspect that he/she is also regular that uses Wanton as a secondary account. He/she doesn't want to get tagged as a dick or a bitch, so they use this disposable account to safely be a tool. Which in turn means that they are a gutless wuss and bully. Easy to mock people when hiding behind anonymity. If you try to check out his/her stats, you will see that the profile is blocked. One can't even tell how long the disposable account has existed.
Now you know.

ReplyDeleteI'm not defending Gabby. Siovaujn, or however you spell it, has issues. she was out sitting on the sidewalk holding a sign saying that D. Wade left her homeless, when that was quite far from the case. I think she carefully crafts these scenes for the publicity. there's a lot going on with that lady. if she is mentally ill, I feel for her. I don't think she really is.
