Blind Item #2

This B+ list celebrity/sometime actress/with A list name recognition had to stop on the way to an event she was hosting to buy a new blouse. Apparently the one she was wearing had drops of blood from her nose on it so she stopped to buy a new top and changed in the limo. She arrived to the event with tissue still stuffed up her nose to stem the bleeding and took it out only at the last possible second.

  1. You're risking an after-clot geyser there, my friend. I was sort of flinching, thinking it was gonna be something else.

    Still no guess!

  6. Stop the world! Someone had a nose bleed.
Or are you implying drug use as otherwise this is a none story?

  9. I guess that would be too much crokanium. Snort-sneeze-sneeze-neezesneeze-wipe-wipe-wipe-wipe-repeat-repeat-bleed. That must have been some night.

  12. What? You mean the celeb is human and has blood running through her veins? This has happened to me before, many times actually, and it doesn't stop bleeding. Usually the dry weather is what does it to me. My mom had the same problem too, where she actually had to go to the doctors, because it was getting out of hand.

Either that...or Chelsea has a nose picking problem...or a cocaine issue. I'm thinking cocaine.

  16. OT -- Jenny, I'm so glad you said that. I'm the same way. Stuff myself at the Chinese restaurant only to be looking for something to eat in our pantry an hour later because I'm hungry.

    What gives with that?!? lol

  18. Not really the same thing but I get nose bleeds in the shower all the time. Almost always take 3 showers a day (I'm such a clean boy) and will usually get a nose bleed every 1 or 2 days.

A little more detail for those of you hanging on my every word here: It's always the left nostril, and the blood source is a vein on the septum about half an inch in. I have a shaving mirror in the shower so sometimes I'll just stand there (all naked and wet, ladies) and watch the blood oozing from the vein and out my nose and down to and across my mouth, which looks very freaky, and then down my chin and neck unto my chest and from there it trickles down my abdomen to my dick and then drips off my dick into the tub where it is washed down the drain to make the trip to the sewage plant where it is processed back into drinking water that will come out of people's taps.

  19. I get that this is intended to imply out-of-control Coke use, and it certainly is consistent with that, but I've had long-lasting nose-geysers after an ill-advised picking session. (Man, sometimes that crust is just stuck to one of the little veins!)

    What?

  20. Well, fuck, if I'd realized Harry Knuckles had done such a thorough job, I wouldn't have bothered!

  26. I NEVER feel hungry after I eat Chinese food. I've never understood where that came from...

  27. Insufflating a substance that is initially processed by soaking the plant leaves in gasoline for an extended period--like Step One after they collect the leaves--is probably going to do nasty things to tender areas like one's nostrils at some point.

As for smoking... Ohhh; duh. And to think I never quite understood the Richard Pryor free-basing disaster... still trying to forget seeing a man taking the stuff intravenously--some 20+ years ago. Maybe that explains the convulsions.

To be fair, I've always been a little biased about cocaine use.

  28. Soaking leaves in gasoline, big deal. You eat meat that eats plants that thrive on shit.

I may be wrong on this, but I believe the coke itself doesn't do much collateral damage, it is the cut that does. The aspirin, baby laxative and the like.
