2 Broke Girls And Lindsay Lohan
Nothing like a little stunt casting to get people to watch your show. 2 Broke Girls gets people to watch though without having to resort to booking Lindsay Lohan for a one off episode where she plays a woman getting married who orders a wedding cake from Max and Caroline. So, Lindsay won't be playing herself which means that she will be forced to actually act which means this will be a horrific collision on the show. I know Lindsay has guested on some show but she usually plays herself or someone closely resembling herself. The last time she was on a television show and had to play a character was maybe Ugly Betty and that role was cut short because her acting sucked and everyone on the cast and crew hated Lindsay. Hopefully this time will work out better for her. The episode will air on April 14th. Easter week because this is yet another resurrection for Lindsay.
Bwahahaha!! I totally read that as Two Girls One Cup with Lindsay Lohan, and it totally made sense! And I still flinched
ReplyDeleteO.o It's too early, doll!! Way too early!!
DeleteI know, I know, Meanie! It's all wrong
DeleteDon't you mean 'Three Broke Girls'?
ReplyDelete2 broke girls and one busted
ReplyDeleteI never thought this show would last so long.
ReplyDeleteLove Lilo. she is like a screwed cartoon. I suspect she is very smart too but wilde as only an irish can be
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Lindsay is back in the headlines. I was starting to worry about her.
ReplyDelete@Lotta....now I'm starting to worry about YOU!
DeleteMmmm, Kat Dennings. That is all.

ReplyDeleteI happened by this show one time and it was one of the worst things I have ever seen. It was painful and unfunny.
ReplyDeleteMy pillows show gets good rating, enty.
ReplyDelete@Glitter
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's a Chuck Lorre crapfest.
This show is one of the worst on TV. I am sorry Lucas but your Kat Dennings is really unlikeable on this show--as is everyone else with more than one line. Lindsay should fit right in.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna go ahead and bet Lucas and most of the dudes that watch this show do so with the sound off, Audrey
Delete@TTM - I don't actually watch the show. But anytime I see her poured into that ridiculous outfit I get stirrings.
DeleteNo judgement, fella. I sometimes watch Criminal Minds with the sound off. Sometimes the mouth noises distract
Delete@Lucas~love that used 'stirrings'! :D
DeleteI agree, can't believe this show is still on the air, it is so painfully stilted.
ReplyDeleteRemember tho, once upon a time Lohan actually was a decent actress.
Figgy, I had that Lohan faith too. Until I saw The Canyons. 20 minutes of my life: gone! Poof! Whatever she had she is not currently using
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell does she have on people, that she keeps getting chance after chance?
ReplyDelete+1 @Surfer. I've wondered that, too.
DeleteShe was in the series finale of Eastbound and Down. She had a silent role.
ReplyDeleteI think LiLo was once a decent CHILD actress, but she hasn't fared well since. Let's not pretend she wasn't the weakest part of Mean Girls. That movie was great but not because she was extraordinary in it.
ReplyDeleteI'm just imagining her raspy voice "Yeah, I want a vanilla tobacco cake with cocaine buttercream."
lolololol!! I totally read that in Lilo's voice!
DeleteThis show has lasted because of Kat, women & men like her...the writing is not good, the blond, and the rest of the cast are completely replaceable...notice though they are only giving LiLo 1 episode...seems they learned from Ugly Betty's mistake...hopefully it means LiLo only has to be there for 1 day...anymore than that & you can't count on her
ReplyDeleteI'll pass…
ReplyDeleteI actually DVR this show. I love Kat Dennings and Jennifer Coolidge. And Eric Andre being on the show now just makes me happy. I love him.
ReplyDeleteI love this show. I think it is wickedly funny. It surprises me what they get away with saying on network tv though.
ReplyDeleteWho's gonna watch the Oprah premiere of Lindsays show? I giggle at the teaser trailer
ReplyDeleteYeah they don't have to resort to stunt casing for views
ReplyDeleteBut they do have to resort to several crude jokes every episode--most of them I am shocked they can say on prime time.
I still love the show though, ha.
BlowHan? This show is officially dead to me! Will not watch.
ReplyDelete2 Broke Girls is a guilty pleasure of mine as well. Sometimes it is really funny-sometimes not. ALWAYS better than The New Girl. I like the character of Sophie-she is funny. I expect to hear lots of drama on set and Kat seems like a tough bitch that won't tolerate tom foolery.
ReplyDeleteI love this show, and the double meanings are hilariously funny and I, too, wonder how they get away with it on regular tv.
ReplyDeleteIt will probably be a ratings boost because of Linday but not for her acting, lol, people just want to try to see how well or how awful she is doing.
April 14th? That means it's probably already been filmed. Oh, wait no. There hasn't been any bullshit stories on TMZ about how Lindsay received a standing ovation after taping ended.
ReplyDeleteI tried with this show, I really did. I wanted to like it but Kat and the other girls delivery is just awful. She says she's done all this crazy wild stuff but haven't actually seen her do any of it. Pass on the regular and with crazy guest spot.
ReplyDeleteLindsay Lohan would be perfect on this show. I've never watched it, but did a bit of YouTubing because of this post, and the main thing that intrigued me is the setting (Brooklyn). Anyone from Brooklyn here who can confirm that the vibe from the show is true Brooklyn? If so, I'm moving there tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteOh, the show is stupid, but I really love the set and props.
ReplyDeleteSo...still no reason to start watching this show then.
ReplyDeleteLohan's role on Ugly Betty was cut short for the same reason the show itself was: America was an insufferable cunt. A little fame really went to her head.
