Do you have a song you like to have sex to or gets you in the mood?

  1. I do not have sex with songs, but hey, whatever floats your boat. Or Bradley Cooper's boat, apparently.

  4. No special sex songs for me & the hubby, usually something jazzy in the background... Had a BF in high school who always put on "Rooster" by Alice in Chains to makeout to, which I always found distracting... All my other friends used to swear by Keith Sweat, but I'm not really a big fan of his either. Ah, the 90's. Good times.

  5. God no. That's just weird. What would happen if you're wandering round the supermarket and your sexy times song came on over the tannoy. It would feel all sorts of wrong purchasing your baked beans.

  7. I'd tell you, but I'd have to kill you. Oh I'm kidding! It's none of your business, but lets just say I had 6 kids in 10 years with 3 women, so I'm doing something right!

  9. Closer - NIN. I generally don't have sex with a soundtrack (unless whatever's on the tv counts). Making out to Comfortably Numb by Floyd was fun when I was young.

  13. I used to share a room at my best friend's house when I was 17; she used to sneak her bf in and the only consideration I got was that they turned the cassette player up. I cannot hear Eddie Rabbit without flinching to this day. True story

Recently my ex and I were enjoying the build up to sexy time. He is an old school hard core rap fan. For some reason he put on the 80's (my fave music ever) station on Pandora cause he felt like listening to some chill music.
I COULD NOT get in the mood. I switched from "bout to get me some" to wanting to dance. The dance that George Michael does in wake me up before you go go.
His gangsta rap is just background filler whilst doing the deed. I appreciated his attempt at enjoying My music but there is a time and place for everything.

Enty your answer is in there somewhere. Lol

    2. hot, I'm a hardcore blues and rock guy but somehow over the years I've also brought classical, big band and even the old twangy style country into the fold. I know it's not because I'm more mature now, because I'm not. At all. .... Can't explain it!

    Addendum....
I cannot do filthy things to that music. Seems wrong.

  21. Ok, just want to go on record as saying that if Enty is going to ask personal questions like that he at least needs to tell us what music gets hm ready for the dirty. Ijs

    1. Also, I dont have sex to music but there is certain music that makes me feel sexy /takes me to a higher plateau would probably be a more apt description. Mayer's bluesier tunes, maxwell, some of maroon 's earthier tunes, jeff buckley. Radiohead takes me to another world. Sometimes his music is ethereal. I love that effect. Oh yeah and any extremely good bass guitar musicians-- ie. Stevie ray vaughn will touch my soul. (Hope I got the guitar right.)

    2. @Eros - a little piece of my soul died when you referred to Radiohead as 'him' and SRV as a bass guitar player.

  27. When I were a yung'un myself and himself used to get it on to Tone Loc. He was my first real fella and even now, 24 years later, when we listen to it we get our freak on.
(We got back together almost 10 years ago so we have loads of fun memories of our youth).

  28. Not necessarily to play sexy times to, but the following definitely will change my mood to "okay go!": Six Underground by Sneaker Pimps, Criminal by Fiona Apple, Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield and Do I Wanna Know by Arctic Monkeys. Even typing that made me a little warm under the collar.

Then I became a realist, no music, lights out, silence (joking!).

  33. "I'm Your Man" by Leonard Cohen or "Secret" by Maroon 5.

Often the theme song for McDonalds gets me in the mood...but then I feel dirty afterwards.

  34. Led Zeppelin's Dazed and Confused and Thank You. Sad, I know. lol

  35. Miss Kitty, "I'm Your Man" is one of my top three favourite Leonard Cohen songs EVER!

Kimba, it's similar at our home, but when the moon is blue, there is no music, just listening ears for wee feets.

  36. AKM - Never Tear Us Apart by INXS. Can't believe I forgot that one. Sexy, sexy, saxophone (said in my best Neil Goldberg voice).
