Sarah Hyland Groped By Fan At Event - Fan Arrested

Sarah Hyland is in Australia with the much of the cast of Modern Family for some episodes to be filmed there. While at a party to celebrate the filming Sarah Hyland was groped by a fan (pointing at him in the above photo) who was arrested. The incident happened just outside as Sarah was making her way into the venue. She Tweeted that she was inappropriately touched. What happened was a fan asked her for a photo and when she stood next to him he grabbed her breast. Sarah screamed at him and security stepped in and held the man until police arrived. Police arrested the man and are investigating the 29 year old man for indecent assault. It sucks that the guy was an a-hole because red carpet lines are about the only time you are ever going to see a celebrity and get to take your photo with them. Now that a fan got out of line what are the chances Sarah does any red carpet interaction again. Maybe it makes others less willing to do it in the future too.

  2. Folks give celebrities alot of crap but it is moments like this where they are justified with being aloof when it comes to their fans. It only takes one nutter, (see Rebecca Shaeffer)

    1. Lord, I remember that. And others.

I understand they're famous and fans are their life's blood, but I know that most don't enter the profession for fame or money. They just love what they do.

And then spend their lives being bothered (or assaulted) by people who think they're owed something.

I bet accountants rarely have to deal with this!

  8. Douchebag. It is only appropriate to grope broads you don't know, if they are leaning their tits into you and asking for a dollar.

  13. I was at a strip club once, where Teagan Presley and Alexis Texas were feature dancing. Them broads put on a great show. At one point Teagan (about 5' tall) was walking around on the bar, dancing and collecting tips, while Alexis was crawling on it, doing the same.

Some dude stuck his face in Alexis' ass. She calmly sat back on her heels, skooched back over to him, and did a sexy "come here" with her index finger. When the dude leaned forward, WACK! WACK! WACK! she white washed that douchebags face w/ 3 slaps and then bitched him out for a moment, before heading back down the bar for more tips. One of the greatest things I ever seen, and VERY cool of her that she didn't have the guy thrown out.

  15. Prick! I hope he's convicted.
Happened to me once. Walking down the street and a dirty junkie grabbed my arse. I let a roar at him and my bf (at the time) squared up to him. While they were sticking out their chests and being macho I punched the dude in the mouth and busted his lip.
He didn't know what to do and started screaming that he was gonna charge me with assault.
We were outside a cop shop so I marched in and told them what happened. The cops laughed at him and sent me on my way. They held onto him until I was gone.
    I hate that shit.

    1. Awesome, IJU! ♥

I worked with a guy who was obsessed with my tits. Shot him down time and time again, complained to management, "Do something or I will." They didn't. So, the next time (which was the 3rd time he "accidentally brushed" against me (with squeezing fingers, mind you!) and I shoved him so hard he fell into the time clock, breaking it with his head. Management comes running and all I said was, "Problem solved!"

      He got fired, I didn't. :) Ah, the '80s.

    2. Good work Meanie. Ya gotta be able to stand up for yourself. Ya can't rely on others.
As I always say to my girls, the rule is 'my body my rules'.

  16. @TTM: Damn right! It is assault and unacceptable.

@Meanie: Not happy you had to endure that but a very satisfying end to the story.

  17. when I was living in Spain a few years ago a guy walked by and grabed my ass. I grabbed his arm, swung it around and took him down to the ground! I then cursed him out in English and Spanish. he looked scared to death. I guess he thought it was acceptable to do that. I told him that his shcouldn't mess with an American girl!

  18. I'm glad he got arrested and feel sympathy for her. I've never understood why there are some men out there that just CANNOT comprehend that a woman has worth, is human, deserves respect, and you just don't do it to a fellow human.

  22. Good going Sarah! Fans can admire your work and the person that you are, but they can never invade your space and definitely not put their hands on you!
