I am surprised he did not have a full time minder because he had to be uninsurable and Hunger Games is a major franchise, what if he had ODed sooner and he was dropped from a movie he was signed on for before Hunger Games, that had to be as huge red flag to the producers of Hunger Games.
What would possess a person of obvious intelligence to stick a needle in his arm? Did he think he'd be the first person to escape the enslavement of heroin?
As if this wasn't all awful enough: Valentino decided to issue a press release crowing that Amy Adams was photographed yesterday carrying one of their bags...yes, that would be the big burgundy bag in the picture posted here. Amy's publicist went off on them (quite justifiably), and they're backing down and grovelling, but I daresay we won't be seeing her wearing Valentino again to an awards show for a long time, if ever. Oh, and Ugg was trying to send people boots in the hopes that they'd be seen wearing them as well...
Not that I have the kind of money where this would even be an issue, but if I did, I know 2 companies whom I would NEVER patronize in the future, and I daresay plenty of people who do have that kind of cash feel likewise. (As to why she'd carry that particular bag, I can think of two reasons: (1) it happened to be the one she'd been lugging around for a bit, and when you're mourning a friend, you're probably not thinking about swapping out purses, and/or (2) it's big enough to hold an entire box of tissues...)
Valentino is a high end label manufactured in third world countries. UGG's are made of real sheep. Why wear either? This has been really bad press for both and I will pass the word fosho.
Jennifer Aniston was in "Along Came Polly" with PSH, too. So even more weird that she isn't there. Of course, I don't know her schedule at all, if she's working on a film or TV show or holding Courteney Cox's paw.
I wondered why the funeral was being held in NY when he is from upstate but, of course this makes sense now. Hundreds of celebrities descending on Fairport NY would cause quite a logistical issue.
Justin but no jen supporting her man tsk tsk
ReplyDeleteThis is fucked up.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sad, those beautiful children….if he were here I give him a punch in the gut, he makes me so mad.
ReplyDeleteBen Stiller without Christine... Was she deemed too fat to be seen?
ReplyDeleteI just keep wishing he had hired someone to be with him when he was doing the drugs. Like a sober companion to administer the naloxene
ReplyDelete*Naloxone
ReplyDeleteAmy Adams, a stripper lingerie store, and a doobie.
ReplyDeleteCrudup looks like HELL - Mary Louise Parker still looks 30. Karma is a bitch, Billy. (I used to LOVE him)
ReplyDeleteEveryone looks devastated
ReplyDeleteIn a tribute to his talent-that is some A-list funeral!
ReplyDeleteYes, everyone look pretty fucking wrecked. With good reason.

ReplyDeleteMaybe he did and pulled a Lindsay.
Good point @Tina
ReplyDeleteKids, death shots, and memorials I'm not into, even for gossip. Not my style. Boundaries with private matters.
ReplyDelete$uck off photogs.

ReplyDeleteWhat a sad waste of a giant talent.
Interesting that Jen isn't with Justin. Hmmmm.
ReplyDeleteAgreed @TTM. :(
Completely crushed by this. I think there are a lot of "there but for the grace of God" thoughts going around Hollywood this week.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Kimba...
