ReplyDeleteTexas does not serve alcohol on Sunday before noon...I will rather fly an extra 5 hours and drink cheap airline wine than sit in an airport sober..
There is nothing quite like the feeling of being told by the check-in lady that you're a day late for your flight because you're not sure what day it is when you're on vacation.

A few weeks ago, I was detained and sent back from Heathrow...thank god I chose not to bring the little minis with me...finding the vibrator I am sure was tragic enough for immigration

ReplyDeleteI love how they talk me into super sizing my drink order for only a dollar more. Of course, it doesn't take much convincing.
ReplyDeleteMy last flight to NYC - there and back - the airline stewards and stewardess gave us free mini bottles on the flight. Apparently we were just as funny as we thought we were!

@Lurker Girl, I go there a few times a year to see my family. We all are originally from the Midwest. And I am the last holdout!! My parents, sister and nephews live near the Green Vally Ranch. I can't wait to leave 10* behind!!!!

ReplyDeleteWow..I'm pretty hard core but I think I keep it to a dull roar for the AM flights. Now, that being said, IF you put fruit juice in it, it then becomes a breakfast drink and thus less pathetic. (See how us alcoholics do that?)

ReplyDeleteThe night before an early flight I was out really late doing shots with these guys 20 years younger than me. Huge mistake. Even xanax won't fix that.
