Frozen had a little party this weekend and Idina Menzel closed out the party by singing Let It Go. Now if I could just get her to sing to me in person.
That was NOT her best performance which is sad because mama can really SAAAAAAAANNNNNNGGGGG. Saw her in Wicked years ago and she blew Kristen Chenoweth out of the water.
@MontanaMarriott, thanks for the heads-up. Oh, and I am super jealous of you seeing her in Wicked! I have the original soundtrack and I love both her and Kristin Chenowith on it. Idina Menzel is (to steal an Eword) amazing!
Being a singer myself, when you don't have a good sound system...or your on stage and the music is overpowering you, you can't hear yourself...and sometimes you'll come across as tone deaf.
This woman is an absolutely amazing singer. Just overpowered on stage. She can't really hear herself, with or without the microphone.

ReplyDeleteWhy do you put videos no one cares about on your site?
ReplyDeleteEven we aren't this shameless.

ReplyDeleteEword.. amazeballs!!
DeleteI <3 Idina so much! My 8 year old daughter loves this song and may be the only 8 year old who prefers Idina's version to the one by Demi Lovato. :)
ReplyDelete@stew my 7 yr old adores her version too. Many a happy hour spent on you tube singing along with Idina.

18 seconds of Idina for a 30 second ad? Highway robbery!
ReplyDeleteMy 8 yo doesn't care which version she's hearing. She just LOVES that song.
ReplyDeleteI read that she started the song again because she flubbed a line so this may have been the first go. Man, I wish I could sing like her.
