Last night I Tweeted that NBC is planning on returning Heroes to NBC next year as a mini-series. Think the same type of thing that FOX is doing with 24. Now there are more details about the show. It will be 13 episodes which is longer than a true mini-series but half the amount of a regular order. There will also be a digital series prior to the 13 episodes which will introduce new characters and re-introduce older characters being brought back. Tim Kring, who created the show is back on board. Hopefully the shows in 2015 will make up for the disaster that was the last season or two of the show when it was on the air.
