CNN Drops Piers Morgan Show

Somewhere out there Larry King is talking to himself and is probably saying that he is ready to go back on the air at CNN full-time while Ryan Seacrest gets a new hair color in hopes that CNN will finally hire him. CNN announced that next month will be the last for Piers Morgan on the air. He has struggled in the ratings since he replaced Larry King and no one seems to like the guy. Meanwhile, back in London he continues to answer questions about what he knew and did in the phone hacking scandal that has seen several tabloid reporters and editors arrested. The job as Larry King defined it is to suck up and kiss butt of whatever celebrities deign to appear on the program. No tough questions are allowed and is the perfect venue for anyone seeking to emulate Kneepads in a visual media.

  3. They'll probably use Bill Weir in that time slot. After all, he left ABC's Nightline to move to CNN.

Piers Morgan spoke with David Carr of the NT Times, which went up online last night. Interesting.

  4. Medium. And yes, I apologise for being the person who corrects this kind thing.

By the way, bye bye Piers. You're an interesting character, but you've blown your opportunity to "break" America for now...

  9. I had no idea who he was until my son sent me the video of the Susan Boyle "I dreamed a dream". I got quite the crush on him then. I think that's how he got so popular (Susan Boyle). He should go kiss her and then go away.

  10. There was an article in the NY Times Sunday stating that they were going to let him stay on the air 'till September. Then last night the Daily Mail stated that they were kicking him off the air at the end of the month.

IMO he screams too much when he's on the air. I want to listen to the news, not turn it down because the host starts screaming.

    1. He was a phone hacker just like the rest which is why he can't get any good interviews. All celebrity know he is a tabloid editor.

  11. If there was any justice in the world, he would be spending next month (and many, many more afterward) in a British prison cell.

  12. Sick of Piers Morgan trying to tell Americans HE knows best. His low television ratings should tell him exactly what Americans think of him. And exactly why isn't he in jail?

  14. Didn't they give and suddenly take away Don Lemon's 11 pm show?
I don't know what's going on over there, but it seems to be a mess.

  18. No one wants to see Graycrest on CNN. Besides, he is too bust sucking/licking KrapTRASHian taint.

  19. Ronan Farrow is a terrible interviewer. Jake Tapper will probably get this.
