  2. The way the Entybots are speeding thru the old blinds we might actually be done with the 2013s soon.

  3. Nicole Kidman does not need the money, she just wants it.

I rather have integrity if I was her,and play a role for peanuts than be known as a bad actress.

    Stepford Wives anyone ?

  4. It's tough to be 40ish female Hollywood.

  5. I secretly love Moulin Rouge but don't tell anyone! That being said, if all she cares about is the paycheck and the gigs, maybe work on being less awful mmmmmkay?

  6. Aw, why you gotta pull 7's comment??!!?? I know most Enty's don't like Nicole Kidman, but jeez! Someone says they like her and ya pull the comment?

  10. Everyone in Nashville knows Nicole always puts forth 147% in every project she does and is very private, avoiding cameras at all cost.

Beat you to it, I get to bill her.

    1. @Count Dammit, that's fast work! I was just coming on her to say that my daughter goes to belly-dancing class with her daughter in Nashville, and that she and Keith are lovely people and very much in love, and love their daughters and love apple pie. Then **I** would have been able to bill her. I'll get there first next time!

  12. She has all the warmth of cold pizza. Her face hasn't moved in years.

She has one performance in her. Don't understand the regard for her. Plenty of more talented actresses her age.

  13. At least she's honest.

  14. So pathetic and sad.

  15. She's far from an awful actress. She's made some awful movies though.

    cough*bewitched*cough.

  16. @Lady Why be secret about Moulin Rouge? That movie is all kinds of awesome!

  17. Wait we get the Karcrapians every day but they delete 7's comment? Oh come on!

  18. Erin B - my thoughts exactly, she's honest!

  19. Loved her in Moulin Rouge and The Others.

  20. An actor makes some awful movies, no one cares. An actress makes a couple and it's the end of her career. It's sad especially since someone like Nicole is one of the best around.

  21. Michael Caine, Gene Hackman, Robert De Niro have made more than their share of films to cash a check. Why is it so much worse that Kidman would have done it? She's not even nearly as prolific doing it as those guys, and she still churns out little indie films in spite of her status.

    ReplyDelete
  22. GPS74, I think it's cause Caine, Hackman and De Niro still put in the effort of performing well.

  23. @msgirl, I think Kidman still does it - see "Stoker" or "The Paperboy" for proof of that. (I will not vouch for "Princess Grace." That looks like a travesty.)

  24. @7 :(

Is the Pentagon trying to sit you down? Don't be silenced! This conspiracy goes all the way to slightly to the side of the top, with faceless men 'n stuff. You have to NAME NAMES!

Ps: I'm in the x-files atm.

  25. My bet is on the Movie Stoker, that was a real piece of crap.

  26. *eyeroll* Yes, Enty. I'm sure those were her *exact* words.

I can't blame her. She's got two kids*, a lifestyle to maintain and, well, because she CAN. If studios are going to wave Money at her, why would she turn them down?

*Nope, not counting Connor and Isabella since they "disconnected" from her.

  27. I'm hanging on to the memory of when she was spectacular.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Not sure I believe this one. Celebrity Net Worth puts Kidman at $130,000,000. Sounds about right - she's been making big budget Hollywood movies for around 20 years. On the other hand she was apparently content to spend the rest of her life living in a fake marraige with Cruise, just as she is now living in a fake marraige with guitar boy (forgot his name) so who knows with this coo coo cow. She's got a nice butt though.

  29. I, for one, liked "Australia". I liked her range in it: from comic at first to poignant in her love for the boy. My only gripe was with the cinematography. The landscape is already beautiful and dramatic: why play with CGI's?

  30. I think you pulled that quote out of your ass. There's no way she said that.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yeah, these words came out of the mouth of Nicole Kidman. Sure. Now let me sell you some magic beans, if you're gullible enough to believe this reveal.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Dont think she said it either, i think its what YOU think she was thinking. Peeps here made good points; an actress makes a crappy movie, her career is over. If its a man, its usually the director or the material let THEM down. Its show BUSINESS folks, you make a movie, do the best u can and move on.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I really don't think she needs the money, she has plenty and would be just fine making endorsement money from now on.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm just surprised she can move her lips to even speak after all that damn Botox.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Nicole was good in Dead Calm and To Die For. Anything else where her performance was fit, she wasn't acting. The Others? An ice queen, detached from reality? That's our girl. Btw, after Australia, when critics panned her acting, Nicole said something akin to I agree, I am not proud of my performance in that film.

My question is that if all Enty's gossip about her were true, then I want to know why Keith doesn't just divorce her? His stock would go up dramatically, and my guess is that if she played her cards right, hers could, too. But, she needs to address the GMD and the loss of her children, otherwise, she will always be seen as a cold, heartless robot.

  36. Sorry to admit it, love her in Bewitched. She is very cute in that movie, but she threw in the towel a decade ago. Hollywood is not for woman in their 40s. sucks. Thought she was great in that Kubrick film.

Acting makes her feel wanted and relevant ... the day that offers stop coming will be very dark for her.

Not that I think the offers will stop coming - she continues to be in demand, despite some of her latter movies not being box office hits, and is renowned for being a hard worker who just gets stuck in and gets the job done without a lot of fuss that some of her younger peers create.

    ReplyDelete
  38. This is probably about Grace of Monaco. If the movie is being pulled from theatres...it can't be good.

I think her acting skills went downhill after all the Botox and plastic surgery. How is she going to express genuine emotion if she can't even move her face properly? She's frozen.

As for taking roles for pay checks, I don't care. Acting is also a business, and these people have to make some money every now and then. I understand. It gives them more flexibility to do the work they actually want to do.

Kidman has made tons of bad movies over the years. I'm not sure why people think she'd suddenly stop being in demand because of that. She's still getting roles. Yes, the business is more forgiving of male actors with flops, but certain female actors can get away with it and I think she's one of them, just because of how renowned she still is.
