Blind Item #5
I'm not sure how seriously this A list celeb/one ht wonder is taking this whole reconciliation thing considering that he had an impromptu party at his place consisting solely of three of his female backup dancers.

Robin Thicke
ReplyDeleteDM identifies him as the "Blurred Lines Singer"
Deletedoes he plead "I know you want it...heyheyheyhey..." sorry my BAD. Just had to......
ReplyDeleteThicke-Head"
ReplyDeleteReminds me of my time in Miami
ReplyDeleteBut surely they aren't working on reconciliation yet, they just announced their separation? Isn't he right on track? First, pending divorce announcement, then railing random backup dancers, then contrition, then making it work, then finally splitsville, followed finally by a People cover announcing rehab?
ReplyDeleteEasy Easy
ReplyDeletejeesh
does buble have backup dancers? mayer?
ReplyDeleteRobin Thicke is NOT a "one hit wonder". He had a huge hit years ago as Thicke - "When I Get You Alone". Then a couple of years ago, he had "Lost Without You" and "Shooter" with Lil Wayne. Put "Blurred Lines" with that, and that is more than ONE hit.
ReplyDeleteHe may be a douchebag, but he is NOT a one hit wonder.
Thanks, this is what I've been saying! Love After War is another song that got major play on the smooth jazz station I listen to.
DeleteNever heard of any of those songs.
DeleteI L.O.V.E. " Shooter"!
DeleteYessss! Love, luv, love Thicke! Hoping they stay cool.
Deleteehem, that one "thing"wonder destroyed his marriage. He won't be in the press with his pencil habits if it was not for the attention he got after the single. I hope the pencil and the song worth it
ReplyDeleteI agree, psl, I was going to post the same thing originally. He has been the go-to guy for blue-eyed soul for years
ReplyDeleteBut no way VIP isn't right, Enty thinks of RT as a one-hit-wonder whether it's true or not
ReplyDelete+1!!
DeleteDM also refers to Kim K as a "socialite".
ReplyDeleteThicke is not a one hit wonder. Even if VIP is right in the guess, the description is WRONG.
Robin Thicke may be a dirt bag douche, but he is a TALENTED dirt bag douche. He was a good voice and an impressive portfolio. Not a "one-hit wonder". He has consistently charted on the R&B charts for years.
ReplyDeleteR&B charts do not equal mainstream pop charts. Until they've been performing on Awards shows like MTV or Grammy's they aren't someone that America acknowledges. Totally agree with calling him a one hit wonder.
DeleteUm, Whitney, Mariah, Toni...eh, never mind. I'll take 'Best Blogger Names' for $200, Alex...
Deletewhite pipe aka Robin
ReplyDeleteDuh does this qualify as a blind reveal we didn't get yesterday?
ReplyDeleteEnty gets most everything wrong you should know that by now @Paris especially ratings.
ReplyDeletesandy, it's just so STUPID. I understand confusion about some people's ratings, but a one hit wonder? Come ON, it's counting- it's before preschool!
ReplyDeleteSnow, Informer was huge...
ReplyDeleteI think I just sussed out another Canuckladian! No mericans know of Snow, do they?
DeleteYep, we were do! Boom, boom, down!
DeleteEven my autocowreck has gone anti-American, meant to say 'sure'.
Delete*leaves podium*
A licky boom boom down!!!
ReplyDelete@TTM, I remember hearing that song in PARIS in 1993. Dude's a global one-hitter.

ReplyDeleteLOL Okay, Michael, I stand corrected!
ReplyDeleteNo shade for Paula? The door of that marriage has swung wide open for a very long time. She was AOK w it, when they both were only mid level fame and the tabs didn't care what they did in their "free" time. She only decided to bolt when they got more fame and she's embarrassed. I'm not saying I think he's a prince, but...
ReplyDeleteHehehe yeah I wasn't sure at first, since I grew up on the border (buffalo), so I am an old Hip fan from way back, and all those other bands too like Blue Rodeo and Lowest of the Low, etc. etc. etc. But then I remembered some kids singing it at the Sacre Coeur.
ReplyDeleteYay for the Tragically Hip and Blue Rodeo!! We shall dub thee an honorary Canucklehead, Michael!
DeleteWait TTM..Even I know the Tragically Hip and I grew up in the south. But I would like to be an honorary Canucklehead.
ReplyDeleteYay, Sherry! I dub thee also an honorary Canucklehead! Repeat after me: No Doot Aboot It!
Deletehe will never change
