Blind Item #5

This almost A+ list mostly movie actor who will do anything to sell a movie and can be a very funny guy likes to pretend how close he is to fans and how he is just an average guy. Well, the comic actor is really anything but that. Good luck trying to get a photo with him or getting an autograph unless he is actually out promoting his latest movie. As in on the red carpet or there are press around. He is not a fan friendly guy and thinks they take up too much time. The only time he cares about fans is at the ticket window.

  7. It sounds like it's supposed to be Will Ferrel, but I've dealt with him quite a bit and he's generally very friendly when out and about.

    2. Iknow-u must feel so special. The conscenus in this guy is dick. If you get on with great, he was also very nice chit chatting with my aunt at the track. But ive heard and read things he himself has said which reveal his dickishness. Glad its not pointed at you.

  9. If this is Will Ferrell, could it just be that some days, he gets sick of constantly being approached by fans? I realize it's part & parcel of being a movie star, but it must get awfully tiresome when you're a comedian to have to be "on" every. single. day. Ferrell is married to a Swedish woman and spends a lot of time in Sweden, which is where I'm originally from, and a place I still visit frequently. I haven't heard anything negative about him in the Swedish press or social media. Swedes, like New Yorkers, tend to give celebrities a lot of space. Just as an example, I've spotted former members of ABBA around Stockholm several times over the years, and no one bothers them.

  10. Just read that Will Ferrell apparently "taunts" people asking for an autograph/photo, he says they have to earn it. Maybe some people have no sense of humour? I am very sarcastic, but don't (usually) mean to offend.

  11. Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler

  12. This pretty much has to be Ferrell due to the "anything to sell a movie" comment. He was almost literally everywhere as Ron Burgundy in the months leading up to the Anchorman 2 release. How many actors would travel to Bismarck, North Dakota in the middle of winter to appear in character to promote his movie on a local news broadcast?

  13. If you must approach a celebrity - I believe in just leaving them alone, just a good gawking does it for me - that it should be at events where they are expected to mingle with fans and the public in general because to be fair, you might be snippy too at #500 of the 500 people that stopped you for pictures and autographs that day though there is a nice way to handle this I guess. If you accommodated everyone some of these celebrities would never eat or be able to go to the bathroom. They probably get asked for autographs there too. I personally never understand the autograph thing anyway and I have heard many celebrities know who the eBay sellers are vs the real fans.

  14. Has to be Will who would travel to Winnipeg Manitoba in -50 degrees Celsius weather to promote a movie at a curling tournament. I also saw him doing the weather on a Canadian news channel.

  17. I think it's very hard to be "on" all the time so I could imagine after some point you'd want a break. Also what happens when you get a bad phone call and you're just not in the mood because of something you need to process.

This can't be Sandler (at least not 12-14 years ago). I worked with him on a handful of movies and he was not like this at all...at least then. Would never be rude to anyone...always went out of his way to make those in the room he didn't know feel comfortable. And I watched him with fans...and then out of their site, shortly there after, and he never seemed annoyed before, during or after. Really nice guy! VERY rare in Hollywood.
